I saw a guy selling this in Pok the other day and asked how much, was happy to learn he only wanted 500p for it, bought it right away. Excellent robe!

And I can't stand folks that overprice somethign when they barely did jack to get it.. sure it takes lots of Skill but just get someone you know wiht high Tailor and you can easily get the stuff and have your friend make you tons of these infact I think ill do that :D

What they did was Nerf the effect and put it in *** Regeneration +2, Being sold in bazaar for 5k

I see these sell in the bazaar for 6-8k consistantly. I am on the Veeshan server.
dunno why but someone on Sullon Zek was selling this for 50,000 plat =/
you saw it for 50k because regen +2 is a good thing for a caster to have on a PVP server dispise..

I bought this robe, and will sell it as I move on into higher levels where I can no longer charm kite. HOWEVER, I love this robe with my chanter, because it has LOTS of extra HP for me, plus it gives me the advantage of HP regen, so that hit for 50 pts that I took from the HG that came uncharmed will quickly regenerate when I am meditating in troll form with this robe on. I plan to move on to a robe of haunted dreams, or a mana robe as I get higher levels, but for now I will use this robe and be proud that I have it...
I too have grown out of certain robes, but keep in mind, you CAN have more than one robe!! 3 robes in your bags could be a great thing! 1) The robe you wear regularly for its stats
, 2) Mana Robe you swap in for regen of mana but ONLY wear then because it's stats suck, 3) THIS robe for regen of HP's as needed. (Possibly a 4th robe even that's high in resists for those raids where resists are more important)
I can't stress enough at higher levels the need for a bag of swap items. For raids and such you'll need better resist gear. When resists aren't as important you'll wear your regular gear. Generally anything can be a swap item, but my mains are robes, primary, secondary and ranged items. I keep good foci items for my regular gear but have swap items for all those areas JUST for better resists.
Ideally we'll find items with the best stats AND resists so there is no need to swap, but let's be honest, that stuff is hard to come by and most aren't so lucky or rich.

LOL, yeah, no other casters can use regeneration of hit points, they never take any damage.

I chose this robe for my new necro over many others, because of the stats ( I like a mix of AC / INT / HP / SAVES ) and primarily because of the effect ( +2 regen per tick ).
To me, where this robe is lacking in a slight MANA stat, the regen MORE than makes up for it. You may think to yourself, "well only 2 regen?" but coupled with other regen items ( Zland heart, brazen earring, worm eaten skull charm etc ) you can easily amount to 10+ regen per tick STANDING, great for lich / HP-to-MANA line of spells.

hehe, OKAY, I agree that necro's eat hp's like candy, but EVERY caster can use hp regen even if necro's happen to need it most. Fact of the matter is TRUE casters(Int casters) have the least hp's and lowest AC in the game and generate aggro really well so ANY hp regen is a sweet thing. How often has the cleric ignored the caster's dropping hp's because they feel the tank is more important? I play a (currently)55 Enchanter and if I'm not important to the cleric to keep alive then what do I know. :P Anyway, I am thinking of making a Wizard on my other account so I can 2-box a nice Nuke/mez/nuke/mez combo.

No mana? What about all the extra mana you get with +11 INT? And what about all the extra mana you get when you're a necro Liching for more and you have the extra 2HP per tick slowing down the health drain? Let's also look at the +10 STA bonus for a second, too. I don't know the exact conversion of how much extra STA = how many extra HP, but for a necro more HP means more health to Lich when you need it. This is definitely geared more toward necros than the other classes that can use it.
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?
p.s....i wonder how long it took for limbas too scroll all the slot categories looking for the best equipment to post on his magelo profile...
