On the 7th kill of the ogre, with 4 ph, I finaly got these.

I've killed the SK 3 times and looted 3 armplates. It seems to be pretty common.

COMMON. He drops these everytime that I've seen, and he is a semi-common spawn in a known location that is needed to be killed to get the key anyway. The only reason these aren't more common on the /auction lists is because NO ONE HUNTS HERE ANYMORE, at least on Vazaelle.
Thus price cannot possibly be 35K! I personally wouldn't pay more than 30p for these, and at that I'd be excessively generous. The racial/class armor quests that make nearly equivalent armor available to low levels drive the price down massively. (2 points of AC difference, but usually the racial/class armors have two stat boosts that total +3 or +4)

Who did you see selling these things for 35k? Because if that that's true, then that person needs a total frontal lobotomy.

Went into Befallen to wait for Moltor to spawn last night...killed the Ogre SK twice, and his Greater Skeleton PH once in between. Both times I killed the SK he dropped these...so I'm thinking that price of 21pp above is probably pretty close Server-Wide.
Still intend to ask 35pp for 'em though...5pp per AC because they're like banded and are magical with a minor stat boost to boot...
I think 35p is what they guy probably meant, not 35k...NOBODY would give 35k for these early midlevel pieces.

this Sucks...some one told me they 35K now im pissed off...some one change the price :P

I just got this being a Li'l level 8 pup from a higher level player in GFay.. & guesswhat?.. I'm now Level 49 & still wearing this piece of junk just becuz i never took the time to try & upgrade the slot.

ok this was my experience in befalen
after the door you use the second key to get into its a deadend, i was huntin with my lvl 12(or less) ranger in a group with 2 shammys and someoen else that didnt stay long, he gated once we got to the room, so just us 3 inside room
we kept that room clean and the nearby room wich spawned necro aprentices
eventualy a OGRE SK spawned , we killed it, he droped barbed arms, i won the roll, and we left shortly after, not bad, surprised we only killed him once and i walked out with the drop
DONT listen to crap above
its not lvl 20
i did it with 2 shammys at lvl 12
and its not the sk in the Pic
its a big *** ogre SK, looks like a dervish thug

he spawns every 19minutes I think, took me 10camps to get these. three times I got a placeholder, twice a greater skeleton, once an ice-boned skeleton. The other 7 camps were all the ogre and got one set of armplates from them.

I know people will think I'm making this up, but a pair of barbed armplates dropped off a decaying skeleton in greater faydark just about an hour ago. Whatever glitch caused that to happen I don't know, but my newbie bard is sure happy with his new armor.
Probablly not a glitch but a higher lvl character having a bit of fun with you. You can give MOBs items, then when a person kills the mob you get the item. I was in crushbone huting legos & cents for the crusbone pads & belts. I wanted to twink a new druid. I killed a lego and he had Emperor Crush's tunic on him. Fun for the whole family.

These took awhile to get for my Shaman. He repawns about every 15 or 16 minutes. But also a placeholder can spawn. I took me about 6 or 7 kills of him to get the armplates. With about 3 or 4 placeholders which are mummies and greater skeletons.
