Shadows of LuclinSo...if you no longer need a key, and yet the door wont open, how do you get in ?
I'm rather stuck, would like to get to the whole zone. Someone help me out here.

This used to be the key to Inner Acrylia, but was changed with the patch of June 11, 2003 to be a charm with maxed stats as shown. |

You don't get in through the door.
To get to Inner Acrylia from the room with the door you need to go back to the stairs where the skeletons spawn and then into the big room with the lava pit behind them.
As you enter the room with the pit look to the right for a door. In the room behind the door there is a black statue.
Click on that statue and you will be warped into Inner Acrylia.
Be careful when you do. There are a couple of walkers that go right by the spawn in spot.

This is the quest guide. Though the quest isn't on US live servers anymore, it's funny to see how much work had to be done to get to a mob that drops loot worse than Seru's.

I think it would have been fairer to either take the itm away from all, or allow to have a chance to get the (now) charm. By all means make a quest of appropriate dificulty. It seems to be quite a nice charm complete with a spell effect.

I do understand that this item is now unattainable on American and European servers.
But on the Chinese server I'm playing on, entering inner AC still requires a key.
So I'm wondering if anyone still remembers how to do the quest before it was removed. Thanks in advance.

If the date of the patch that removed this item is correct, this will still be available on Al'Kabor. It would be nice if the quest details were still avaible.

To those of you who haven't learned to read yet...This item is replacement for a key that is no longer needed.
To simplify:
Inner Acrylia *used to* require a key. It no longer does.
There used to be a quest for the Inner Acrylia key. The quest no longer exists (since the key is no longer necessary).
Anyone who got the key to Inner Acrylia now has this item instead of the key.
There is no possible way anymore for anyone to do the quest and get this item.

can someone tell me how to do this quest to get this item (if it even is a quest), and what effects the stats on it? any help is greatly appreciated.
This item is no longer available in the game. Before the revamp of Acrylia and Grimling Forest, there was a quest to get the key to enter Inner Acrylia. That quest has been removed and any previous Acrylia keys were grandfathered into this item.
You can no longer get this...but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The revamp of Grimling and Acrylia have brought a lot of neat things into the game.

The question is, was the key quest removed from the game?
The patch removed the need for a key to get into inner AC.

except... the charm never coexisted with the quest, so your logic doesn't quite compute.

when they removed the need for the KEY, they changed the KEY into this charm...
