Hello All, I am looking to MQ this item on Th Pa server. If anyone has this available to MQ and it is collecting dust, please let me know. Will pay heafty for it. Thanks. Post here please.
you have to spawn jzil in order to do the turn in. talk to drakis bloodcaster he will give you a book and ask you to return it and then ask you who you wish to be tested by say Jzil and bloodcaster will spawn Jzil and despawn himself
I just got this cloak yesterday and I must say that it's a very nice cloak with some decent stats; especially if you are close to your 250 INT cap. Too bad I'll have to give it up for my epic.
Oh well, if I have the chance, I'll do this quest again for the cloak.
Many cloaks are as good or better than this and easier to obtain. Hiero comes to mind. Can be done with a single group or possibly even by yourself (depending on level) if you get someone to pick the lock for you.
I'm curious....when you turn this spiroc cloak in along with the other components to Drendico for the necro epic does he give this cloak back to you? Would not want to have to do the quest twice. It's a nice cloak
Nope, you won't get your cloak back once you do the turn ins. Unfortunately, Drendico will eat the cloak, the blood slime, and the eye when you hand in the items for the Reagent Box. :(
In the middle of a three day sky raid and got all three parts for this quest. The silver disc drops randomly off any azerack on isle 2(counting zone in as isle 0, efretti isle as isle 1). They drop all kinds of metalic discs such as copper, mithril, etc... The spiroc feather came off of a gorgalask on isle 3(same counting as stated above). These are the gorgon looking things. And finally, got the cape off the big pegasus, keeper of souls on isle 4. I expected him to be meaner looking with that kind of name, but hes just a large pegasus. Got each item as we worked our way up, so if you know what youre looking for, you shouldn't have to clear air twice to get this. Also got a nice necro braclet(braclet of cessation) on isle 6 off of the spiroc lord. We are camped on isle 7(bzzazzt isle) and hope to finish everything else. We did this all with 24 people ranging from 50-60. If you know what you're doing, this is not too tough and incredibly fun, probably my best EQ experience to date. So good luck, and have fun.
Although it is one of the prettiest zones in the game. It's hard. If you go to this zone, be prepared for at least 3-5 corpse runs, if your a necro stock up on coffins in the bank, cause you'll need them. Make sure you have patience and can listen well cause one mistake and your sitting at your bind point waiting for the 20+ people ahead of you to get rezed then you have to get back to the place you were. Trust me this place isn't for the faint of heart, we were all lvl 50+ and a few were over lvl 55 about 25 of us or so, all classes, and the third island killed off our entire party in like 20 mins. And we had some great people, it's just you aren't prepared for how hard and fast this stuff hits. My best advice, find people who have been to this zone. Ask tons of questions. I was suprised about alot about this place. Lots of myths about it. It was more fun then you can imagine and just a great time was had by all. Pictures will be posted at www.members.home.net/sfguild
I am pretty sure that he ment get another one after you get your epic. Not like you'd need a second before you got your epic, anyways, considering that you can still use it as a normal item until you are required to turn it in.

You have no faction disadvantaged over anyone else. The isle you port in on will not aggro you, if that is what you mean. You can zone in safe and sound. Buy keys from the keymaster and zone into the az isle unprepared and you're dead. Simple as that. The aggro there works in interesting ways. Yes you are KoS in air. Also, no you are not KoS in air. You can't say yes OR no, really. Too many factions up there. Some things aggro, some things don't. Some things assist. Some things have a very low assist radius. Some things have HUGE assist radiuses.
I wouldn't say that for sure. I'm lvl 50 ( well soon to be ) and this is question I would like to know the answer too.
Personally, I believe in knowing all you can about a particular zone before ever venturing up there. After all, the more you know about a zone, the least likelyhood that you're going to die, or even worse, get your whole party/raid killed.
PoA is one of those zones that's not easy to learn about w/out venturing up there yourself. There isn't many guides that i have seen. Herd only rumors about his it works. Told there are good quests up there, but also herd that very few of them have been completed or seen completed by friends, etc.
Where can I learn more about PoA before I join any group/raid to veture blindly in?
