The Book of Scale


In eons past came one of the
gods upon the world of Norrath.
Veeshan, Crystalline Dragon and
ruler of the Plane of Sky,
found this world pleasing and
deposited her brood onto the
frozen continent of Velious.


With one swipe of her mighty
claws, Veeshan opened several
great wounds upon the surface
of Norrath, staking her claim
to this promising new world.
Dragons then walked the land
and flew the skies, powerful
beings of great intellect,
wisdom, and strength. Thus
began the Age of Scale.

Miragul's Robe drops off the spawned Miragul when you hand his Phylactery to the wandering tortured corpse of Miragul - you use the book of scale to get it from the Oracle and then ... kill Miragul and loot his head and robe to turn in with your soulfire and Ghoulbane to Inte Akhera in Plane of Sky for the Fiery Avenger.

Also, the correct book of scale is droppable. This is not the same thing, just an item with the same name - something they do all the time.

This has the same name as the item needed to get the paladin Fiery Avenger sword, part of our epic quest. Is this the same item, giving those who are too old for Naggy/Vox raids another chance at the paladin epic? If someone gets this item, I'd be curious to see what happens if you give it to the Oracle in OOT.

Yah really think Verant would do that this late in the game? Nah. I mean they'll do it for just about every other epic, but nah, this is like the supposed Miragul's robe drop of a while back, don't remember where it dropped, tho.
