OMG - we didn't even notice that chain classes were added to these. When they dropped I was happy one of our warriors or SKs were going to get an upgrade until I noticed the guild chat with everyone telling me to bid on them so that they wouldn't have to look at my pink hardend clay linked pants from Guk anymore --- I was like did they forget I can't equip? looked HOLY SMOKELS !!! Rangers rogues added to loot table. So I won the bid. go me!
Chain classes were added to these legs.

Ok, it maybe a oversite being a new zone but rangers can equip the other pieces of Kylong Darkmail but not this one? Any ideas.

there are 2 versions of kylong pants the other version is around 35 ac has a chain graphic and is chain class useable
These are plate. Rangers are a Chain Class, as are Rogues and Shaman. Neither of those classes can use either.
Not sure what the thinking was behind this move, but it happens. Note that the Kylong Darkmail BP, which IS chain class usable, is 12 less AC then the LEGS.
Minus the effect that they have, these leggings would be on par with Ornate Chain Leggings.
To keep things easier, they should have just named it something else. =D

Yeah, I've been wondering why the Darkmail legs were plate when the rest of the set was chain, but it happens...it really shoulda just had some other name given to it, like the rest of the plate set in Veksar
