like most quests that require a specific level or specific events to happen, this npc's response (or lack of it) will tell you if you are high enough to get the items he is selling. if he will tell you about his kits, youll be able to buy them for the 500 plat. if not, save your money and go level a bit more. all of the combines are no fail, so all you need to do once you have the kit is buy the items needed.

There is no level requirement to get the ornate molds; they're tradable, and you can buy them in the bazaar at any level. Elemental molds are not tradable, and they only drop in Elementals and Time. Therefore, you must be elemental or time flagged to get those.

There is a level requirement of 55 to get this kit (and the corollary Forge for chain and plate classes). Bor Wharhammer will neither talk to you nor hand you the kit if you are under 55, even if you're somehow flagged for all zones.

The way you get this is by starting the quest.
It and the artisan seal are consumed each time you combine a piece of armor.

Simply give the 500PP to the NPC, he will return the artisan seal (identified with your class) and the Mystical sewing kit.

Then put the items required for the item in the container and hit combine. The Mystical sewing kit and seal will dissappear and you will have the item.

simply give the dude 500p? NOT!!! as i have found out plainfully, i expecteted to get this sewing kit at 46 after being motivated for many extra hours which i should not have!!... the sewing kit is NOT availabe at 46!! do not get your hopes up over this sewing kit. it is avai;able at lvl 56 maybe lower, but definenitly higher than 46!!

Just a note of clarification.... NPC does NOT give you the artisan seal, he gives you an emblem which is class specific (i.e. chanter, beast, etc). If he gave the seal, this would be an easy 500pp to give to get a 6k item :)
weight reduction
# Jul 09 2003 at 9:31 PM Rating: Default
Notice it says weight reduction is zero percent. That means it DOES NOT reduces the weight of what is placed inside.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 16 2003 at 10:55 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) the 0% WR is noticed... but below they are talking of the 0 WT of the item .. that is significant... for our Weight challenged friends...lol
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 07 2003 at 10:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Zero Weight? 8 slot, not 10 slot, but you don't have to be a monk to appreciate a zero weight box with 8 giant slots.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 09 2003 at 6:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My monk has a large soiled bag, tink bag and 2 leatherfoot haversacks...I would still get this for mana batteries and stuff that is lightweight, it can't hurt...it weighs nothing you can't go wrong.
