They seem to be dropping from the Tier 5 gods in Time ... Cazic, Inny, Rallos and Bertox
Like previous gods, they all drop 2 items and it looks like the BPs/robes are just part of the total loot table.

From what I have seen, your statement still stands except that they drop 3 items, not 2

And Lucy's database filled in the robe, plate, and leather BP patterns since people had something to go off of to search for it. (timeless)

Can you post the mobs that you guys got your BP Molds off of? And if they dropped more than one mold? Thanks! -Mist
