Still clicking away with this at level 75 and with far more powerful dot's. It is still worth getting if you are an up and coming druid. Even at this stage in the games life.
Worn look

Here is what it looks like if you equip it last (after secondary / primary): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v26/ErikVKing/OrbofClingingDeath.jpg
Wow...

No offense or anything, but at first I thought this would be a Snare Effect.

I got friends who say this item Rots a-lot, like 80% of the time they kill this girl, which is a-lot to think of it, but the effect is really nice, I must say.

260 hp/tick is great - it's manaless, great to solo with.

It probably rots because it's DRU only...which means unless an app is present or someone in guild hasn't been on to see it drop, then its gonna rot. If no one can use it...why spend dkp lol

Clickin' insects

As of November 2004, this item has a 6 second cast time, the same as the spell. The orb is not affected by worn or cleric spell haste.

It is affected by dot extensions. My Bracer of the Stoutheart (15% extension) sparkles when I click the orb, and I get eight 240-damage reports from each casting.

The free casting dot has been nice for soloing and group situtaions. A little extra damage for no mana.

This is an unbelievably great item. Curious about cast time though. If its 4 seconds I will be very happy.

Actually if you use lucy located at --

http://lucy.fnord.net it shows the cast time as 6.0 seconds, same as the real spell. Very sweet item indeed.

The picture shows 7 seconds, only 1 second more than the spell itself, and manafree no less.

Manaless yes, but I dont think item clicky effects are affected by focus. I always run around with affliction haste on (I play pvp so it helps ALOT) so this is much slower then i'd be used to.
