This weapon + decent mount buff turns a lv 1 into a demi-god

Arguably the very best twink weapon existing. On Firiona Vie (and maybe on Mischief and Thornblade as well) this weapon can be given to a level 1 character. I confirm it does indeed proc at level 1.

It is not listed anywhere in the Aid Eino quest dialogue on ZAM that you have to be 100% flagged through the entirety of all of the Planes...Terris, Saryrn, Bert, et. al as well as get all four of the essences. I skipped all of the lower level tier god raids and went straight for the four essences. Councilwoman Kerasha will NOT give you the Sacred Bowl unless you are 100% flagged through ALL of the Planes, not just the flags to get you into Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Time.

I just wanted to post after reading all the older posts, that a lvl 1 can do this quest , and wield it. I have a video as proof that i'll link below. Is this quest worth doing for a lvl 1 ? Nope , you have to be a crazy F like me to do this. But I hold the bragging rights and im sure im the only one in the history of EQ to do this.

You have to be fully flagged, no shortcuts all the way up to Elemental planes to get the container from Kerasha. I thought this would be a cool twink weapon for my permanent low level monk, ended up having to backflag him all the way through. So if you are considering this quest just a heads up, its a lot more work than just looting 4 drops.
Sorry, but I have to say...

This post isn't useful, so just skip it if that's all you want!

Wouldn't it be funny if this weren't No Drop, and you could give it to a pet? Since pets can use Lore items, get a second and give it to the pet as well? You'd definately want to keep shrouding before logging to save the pet!
Again, this isn't meant to be practical.. just thought it'd be funny to see a fire elemental with a swarm of other fire elementals. (You'd want to Haste and Dex it, of course!)

Ok I just did the quest, obviously for the ring. But anyway this mace spawns a skeleton pet with a 2h slash sword that looks neat but the pet only lasts for like 12 seconds so it's hard to get excited about it. :p It hits for 93 max, twice a round. This has just been confirmed by taking out Sandgiant Hasun in South Ro a lot quicker than I have before using melee tactics. Grats to anyone who finishes the quest cus it comes with useful items and fun toys...

FIRE Pet-proc weps
# Jun 30 2004 at 1:25 PM Rating: Decent
All of the PoFIRE pet-proc weps will proc at lvl 1. They all can multi-proc up to 4 mobs (max I've seen anyways) I have one of them on my ranger, I know a paly who has one, and a tank. other then the actual proc'd pet, they are very similar. Max damage any of us have seen is 98 on one hit, and the mobs hit about 4 times then despawn. As this is the result of a quest it might be a bit more powerful, but it's likely to just be a slight bit more.

summoned pet makes a lot more swing then 4 or so . turn on pet damage and pet misses and check .
basically it does between 400 and 700 dam before it despawns .

The proc
# Mar 12 2004 at 4:48 AM Rating: Default
The proc's a really nifty pet proc that summons a skelly with some kind of nasty looking sword that will attack your target. The pet can proc more than once and stack(not sure how many pets can be up at the same time, I've seen SS' of three or so) and they last a few seconds. Shrug. Dunno how hard they hit or how fast, but it should be fun, regardless. Lol.

I guess you could read that in the spell decription, but eh.

Essences of the Gods quest

It's the result of a quest:

And it has a slot 8 like all Time loots.
does not drop in time
# Aug 10 2003 at 6:41 PM Rating: Default
It also doesn't drop in Time
this is not dropped item
# Aug 10 2003 at 6:40 PM Rating: Good
This item does not drop. It is indeed a result of the quest that requires you to loot and turn in all 4 essences (air water fire earth) each dropped off of each of the 4 elemental gods.

Once someone has acquired those 4 essences they turn them in for one of 5 items. I believe you get to choose from either this mace, an earring, a ring, a weight/coin reduction purse or something else.

This weapon was thus not awarded to a mage. The mage won all 4 essences which result in godly loot that is all/all and the mage chose to keep the mace for whatever reason.

Well since you have to be 46 enter pot so that should be least proc level. But noticed it not even have a rec level :)
RE: proc
# Jan 24 2005 at 7:11 PM Rating: Decent
Technically the proc level is set by SoE as being lvl 1 to proc for all the pet proc weaps.

However, you are right to say that you MUST be lvl 46 to enter PoP planes to attain this weapon in the first place.

Theoretically, a person can get access to the planes and attain this weapon, then DELEVEL to level 10 and still be able to proc this weapon.

(the theoretical is possible since i have bounded a 65 mage on freeport docks and had a glitch where he would fall through. Sadly i went afk to catch some shut eye that night. If u saw a lvl 10-46 mage with epic, that was me.) He's back to 65 now tho...
Not actually dropped in PoTime

I believe this is one of the possible results of the quest where you turn in the 4 elemental essences that the gods drop (Fennin, Xegony, Coirnav and Rathe/AoEarth). The essences are in each god's loot table and do not drop each time. Note that I am not referring to the item you get when hailing the projection after you kill the god.

There are 4 or 5 items you can choose from, I think, and you can just turn in the item you get to get the next one in line, much like the quest from Yelinak for turning in Tormax's head.

I'm not sure the NPC you turn the essences in to, though.

It's a quest. The magician CHOSE to have it. It wasn't awarded to him. He could have just as well taken either of the two rings, the belt, or the bag. He wanted the pet proc'ing weapon, so he picked the mace as his reward.
Rangers should be considered

Well with 25 wisdom and mana and the non agro proc, I would say this weapon gets the most use out of it by a Ranger, (yeah, im sure rangers will still melee in groups at lvl 65) but its not necessarily a ranger item.
This post is in consideration of the Uber items available to all classes in PoTime.

by the 2 factors you just mentioned i think beastlord would fit into the "most use out of" section as well
RE: Rangers should be considered
# May 31 2003 at 6:59 AM Rating: Default

Wouldn't a pet proc weapon cause problems with the beastlords warder?

RE: Rangers should be considered
# May 31 2003 at 1:41 PM Rating: Good
All melee classes have a class specific swarm pet weapon. Beastlords get Savage Platinum Fists, drops in plane of fire and summons pets as a proc.

They are shadowed men wielding beastlord epic, living for 10 seconds. They are all named Soandso's Pet, just like all the swarm pets. The beastlord's pet is named Soandso's Warder. There is no conflict.
RE: Rangers should be considered
# May 31 2003 at 10:59 AM Rating: Good
Shouldn't cause a problem with the warder. Swarmpets no longer have the one pet per person issue. ie: A mage with the right aa abilities can have 11 pets at one time possibly 12 if you count eye of zomm as a pet.

in response to Rhyoss, there used to be code that prevented a character from having more than one pet at a time. In fact you couldn't even cast eye of zomm while you had a pet because the game considered that 2 pets.

Its only 15 wis, and notice its all/all, therefore Paladins Clerics Shamans could also benefit from the wis too. And who cares if it has 15 wis, look at all the other stats and the 22 damage 23 delay!!! Not to mention the proc which can summon as many pets as you can proc in 10 seconds.

ROFL, when you are at the points to get this weapon (kill all 4 gods of the elemental planes) your important stats will be over 255. After that point the return from hiher stats are very small.

When you are in / close to PoTime you are looking for HP / mana / resists / focus items / usefull effects. And I'm not sure if this proc is so usefull. Anyknow knows the DPS of the pet and how often the mace procs?

My point is this, Pally's and sk's get better ratio weapons at this stage, warriors need agro inducing weapons (i.e. EB weapons) and they cant use the wisdom or mana.
Rangers are the only class thats gonna proc this weapon the most, aside from monks, and be able to use the wisdom and mana. Plus its nice to have a proc that doesnt create agro.
I'm not sure u can get away with FD'n with 3 pets attackin a mob but even if u could the "Mana is a terrible thing to waste"

Flame again?
RE: Rangers should be considered
# Jun 01 2003 at 2:16 AM Rating: Decent
BL regular melee is not comparable to Ranger regular melee(however BL + their pet will beat us good) and with a ratio like that, the wis and mana wll be generally disregarded and the weapon will likely be given to monks first, but that all depends on how the guild awards loot. However in the sense that he is speaking, yes only rangers would be able to take full advantage of all aspects of the weapon like no other class.

PLease note that this is one of several choices one has in a quest that is all/all and requires four god drop item to complete. The notion that one class should be considered for this item is misplaced, this is not loot. If one of these god items drops, every person in the raid will be considered equally, because the different possible quest rewards are appropriate to all classes.
# May 30 2003 at 5:15 PM Rating: Good
Yup... It's Uber, the pet this weapon procs is a skelly wielding a Seru Sword btw.

Actually, thats a negative. Im one of 2 people on the server who's done this quest on Bertoxx. It procs a Skeleton holding Lord Inquisiter Seru's sword.
