Ok people... Innoruuk has been flodded in the last few days with low lvl Necros wearing the robe... Definatly a new vendor item... Check my other post for details...
Got it cheep!
# Nov 22 2002 at 7:14 AM Rating: Default
Yep I'm one of those who buy items and give them to My new Charactors. In less than 1 year I have 8 Charactors and all of them are very well equipted. They all do their part by supplying loot which My Druid picks up and delivers to My trader. Even My trader makes loads of Plat by buying cheep and reselling.
What the He(( is wrong with that?
Got this for 75p in the Bazaar last night, Man does it look GREAT on MY level 1 gnome Necro!!!!
Got a pair of Spider fur Gloves for 100p too!!!
I think peeps who complain about Twinking don't know how to do it themselves.

No, they aren't a normal vendor item. The three sisters in third gate drop them.

The picture of the male DE in the fashion plate for this item is wearing purple armor, not a black robe. I tried to E-mail Alakhazam but I dont have a hotmail account. Just to let you know it probably is the wrong pic.
Matter of taste

Learn how game works for one,I wear this robe still at 52,why?I did quest around 30,and I love the look with a few items you hit the soft cap of 200 int.Thats all you need.If u plan on getting hit alot after say 30 well your not a very savy player, much less necro.I'll never change this robe cause I dont need to,soloed my whole career.(and have 8, 32 plus characters of which necro is main).I love the fact that kids distain it,now it's my trademark as I envisioned.

Yes this robe looks awesome, and I would put it on my necro in a heartbeat. Sure thae stats arent the best, but until you can get somethin better, why not have fun and look decent?

#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 04 2002 at 2:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 255 is the soft cap now man, get a new robe
#REDACTED, Posted: May 13 2002 at 6:13 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ummm no it isnt.
Int/Wis cap...
# May 15 2002 at 1:15 AM Rating: Default
Actually, 200 is still the cap, but you do get more mana from int/wis after 200 than you used to. so getting to 255 int/wis *does* have more of a point now than it used to. However, for Necromancers I'd suggest dropping the quest for int gear after 200int and going for HPs. Why? your hp - Mana conversion spell. The more hps you got = the more mana you got.
RE: Int/Wis cap...
# Nov 26 2002 at 1:37 AM Rating: Decent
/agrees. ya, necros have little need for uber int, they make their mana as they go, much better to invest in resist, ac, and hp gear for a necro once you get around 200 int. regardless of what anyone says, if you solo with a caster, your eventually going to get beat on a little and when you drain your hp for mana, a twinked out hp and ac just in case for protection makes much more sence than alot of useless int that you can boast about at your bind point while waiting for that rez you'll be needing.
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 13 2002 at 12:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why would anyone waste their time either doing the quest or getting someone else to kill the sisters, This robe can't hold a candle to my bone casters robe.
RE: This Robe Sucks
# Feb 23 2002 at 4:49 PM Rating: Good
You mean your bonecaster's robe from PoG? Of course it can't, it's designed for someone 25 levels lower than the lowest level needed to get into PoG...
Xel'Timpi
# Jan 29 2002 at 12:42 PM Rating: Default
I got mine when a lvl 60 killed a Xel'Timpi and gave it to me. Not sure if these are the sisters your talking about.
Good Deal
# Sep 01 2001 at 6:40 AM Rating: Default
Talk about all the LUCK!! My roomate was wondering around Neriak-Foreign Quarter, when he stumbles upon a merchant. A merchant who so happens to have a Robe of Enshroudment. And guess what he paid for it. 44pp. I dunno if the price changed or not on the Tunare server. But damn man, thats cheap!

PS: This is still to be uncovered as truth. I find it hard to believe he could of just found it on some NPC in Neriak, but then again who knows =/
RE: Good Deal
# Feb 23 2002 at 6:58 PM Rating: Default
LOL you should see some of the stuff I sell to merchants. I was cleaning out my bank the other day and sold almost a whole set of Jaundice bone and DW armor to the merchant in Rivervale bank.
RE: Good Deal
# Sep 04 2001 at 11:27 PM Rating: Default
If a merchant has room for an Item when you sell to him, he will offer that Item up for sale at whatever he thinks is fair. Granted what NPC merchants think as fair is a little silly. (um 2157pp for an Axe of the Iron Back or 836pp for a lamentation).

Do the Quest, it's a lot of fun and very rewarding. This robe looks better than any other in the game on a Necro. :)

I am just wondering if this is the robe that looks jet black. IS it jet black or is it another robe. Thanks
Lets argue over a junk robe
# May 10 2001 at 5:45 PM Rating: Default
So what.. it comes from lev 30's via a quest.. and for higher levels by killing the three sisters.. who cares.. do me a favor.. and do not rate people's posts just cuz they found the item via a different method. This robe is Oh.. a low end twink item now.. sure it rocked when it was found.. but now newbies run 'round in oracle robes because those are bout 500pp on my server..
so who cares if somebody mentions it comes from a KILL.. they can have some high lev friends go in an kill the sisters in a matter of minutes instead of doing the quest...

BE HAPPY THIS ISNT ONE OF INNORUUKS NEW DROPS :P
RE: Lets argue over a junk robe

I completely agree with this. Do the quest for yourself like the game is meant to be. Dont have all the high lvlers waste the sisters for you. I remeber the days when EQ came out and people had to do all the discovery on their own. Those were the days when a Robe of Enshourdment was a token of respect from the other players. Now lvl two twinks and noobies who are hooked on the game by friends run around with these +4 intelligence robes, really irks me. O well, such is the way of the EQ gods to grant the requests of the people who exploit all that is good and sacred about this game.

I looted one of these at lev 3 from a party killing the sisters in Neriak. You can get it there...

The preferred method would be the quest, since it does not destroy your faction.
From Neriek
# Mar 08 2001 at 1:26 PM Rating: Default
U can also get this from Neriek Forien Quater by killing the X'ta Sisters. I had a lvl 52 Necro kill one and let me loot. U will lose faction with Neriek though.
