Dropped for me tonight on the advisor at /loc 117, 82, -154.

He did not respawn in the several hours of cycles I was there (waiting on fallen noble...)

One of my favorite places to kill is Castle Mistmoore. I've taken my paladin there many, many times. I killed the Advisor, looted his robe and then used it on my wizard for a while. After my wizard was done with it, I used it on my Necro and then sold it. It is a nice low level robe.

If you find one on a NPC vendor it goes for about 43pp. They sell in the bazaar for 25-200pp.
Bargain
# Oct 13 2003 at 1:56 AM Rating: Default
I just bought one of a NPC merchant (female tailor at Inn 1) in East Commons for 43pp. I did not really know what it was worth I just wanted it. Looks like I got a bargain :)

When I offered it back to her by accident she offered just 7pp so I assume someone must have sold it to her at that price, perhaps a high level player who was so rich he did not need the extra 100-900pp he might have got if he sold it to a player.

you would be lucky to sell this for more then 200pp on druzzil ro server... the going rate is 100-150pp althought i perfer the crystalline robe way more then this. No the green silken drape is not better then this but if you are a necro then it definiteley blows this out of the water caus ethe effect on it is useful (get GSD, polished bone bracelet, and kobold hide boots) then you are set for DoTing, my wizard wears crystalline ( or atleast he did before i got him shining metallic robe) and my mage does wear this robe cause it looks good when standing next to pets. all in all its a pretty beasty robe
This Robe=No thx
# Nov 17 2002 at 7:47 PM Rating: Default
This robe suxx0rs compared to the Blackened Crystalline Robe and they are about equal in hardness to get. So IMO get the BCR instead of this. =b
RE: This Robe=No thx
# Nov 18 2002 at 11:22 AM Rating: Excellent
Yes, well, the BCR is Velious, and this is old world. A lot of this old world gear seemed pretty snazzy before all the expansions.

Of course, back THEN oyu had to walk uphill in the snow both ways with no boots, but we were GRATEFUL!!!!

Bought this item in the (New) Bazaar. Paid a rather nice 50pp for it.. (price ranged up to 200pp on the four that were for sale). Recommend a visit and try it out - Prices are plummeting as competition grows for a quick sale.. :-)

Does anyone find it funny how at lvl 46 the nicest int item I have I got at lvl 12? (stien of moggok) Ya and I still wear this robe (lookin to upgrade) I mean why is it posable that a 10int item is avaible for lvl 12 people when I got this at around lvl 40 and it only has +5int..... well I just think that its kinda wierd. Lookin to upgrade to SMR. I know that it will still leave my stien for the most int item but I'm not comlaining I just think its a little odd
comparison of advisor vs. green silken drape
# Jan 04 2002 at 8:46 PM Rating: Good
Both the advisor robe and the green silken drape are nice. I have both. Bought the drape for 100pp (why a FBR fetches 150pp i have no idea) and the advisor for 300pp. Obviously, the advisor gives more mana and looks better. However, I do like the GSD because of dex which helps you cast when getting hit (like trying to get out of life-death situation when trying to gate out and how much mana u have makes no difference.)

I was in the midst of doing the Robe of the Elements quest when i zoned into EC and saw an advisor robe for 100pp. I should have bought but have the prices gone down that much since Luclin?
Expensive enough?
# Nov 28 2001 at 11:38 PM Rating: Default
The other day i saw 3 peps sell the Advisor robe for bout 1k. Is it really worth that much when you could have a green silken drap for about 100-200pp?
great gift

So I'm in the mage guild buying my level 16 spells when a Magician from the Rings of XEV sends me a tell that he has something for me. Now, I'm wearing a Green Silken Drape (my char is a twink) and he gives me this Robe. I thank him heartily. Earlier in the day, I had given a BI Medallion to a guildie Mage that I had never met, but saw in Oasis of Marr. The gift givers parting words were, "always help a fellow mage". Don't you know that I ran into a mage that had just visited the trainer and got his guild tunic and promptly gave him my now unneeded GSD. Of course I'm lucky, but what goes around comes around.

This topic has probably been beaten to death, but how does this robe compare to the Oracle Robe, stat-wise? Good for a Teir'dal Enchanter or Necromancer?
Got it a weird place

I got this at a Gm event on Fennin Ro. The NPC was a lvl 40'ish necro and we wasted it with me (lvl 24 Paladin at the time), lvl 35 ranger and lvl 30 druid. I won the roll and the thing dropped the Advisor Robe and Runed Circlet. Gave them both to my necro alt.

Oh, and the result of the GM event quest was a Ring of Empowerment. Check it out if you wanna drool!

My point

My point on this ....you are all full of it talking about how hard it is for a lev 50 or how easy it is for a 54 you all get on my blasted nerves MM last I checked had a zone range much lower then you camping JErks that keep the real groups of people out of places by calling them newbies and crap just cause they make mistakes and have fun playing. NOw you wish to call me a newbie fine I have been playing since release and could care less what others say but you want to post somethign do it right not from a farmers point of view *rolls her eyes and goes back to playing*

While I could agree with you that high lvls farming in low level areas isn't very cool, this is Mistmoore. The level range you are looking at means nothing inside this castle. If you are thinking about going in here with a single group to get xp and perhaps a nice drop, I do hope you enjoy CRs like you say. Unless your group is very well rounded, equiped, and very good at doing their jobs, you will die. MM is usually empty too, it's not hard to get the camp you want.

There will be xp groups outside, but inside it's high level groups and raids only for the most part. Post this in Runnyeye or something, where an xp group has at least a chance of survival.

Not flaming, just my 2cp. I've come in mid 40s groups and walked over bodies of 50s trying to camp something solo here to get very deep inside.

Farming by ppl who are at little to no risk in a dungeon is OK if there is no one there trying to get EXP. I mean, if they are farming they are not lvling. So they make their choices. But PLEASE, if a group shows up and wants to get EXP let em. Make a loot deal or let em take the PH'rs. If however you are farming and are at risk, i.e. the dungeon has 10 to 15% blues, then you have the same rights as a group for whom all the mobs are blue-yellow-red. Just be considerate.

I went into the piano room last night to get some werewolf talons for a friend (29th War). I am a 45 Druid, and it was my first time trying to get into the castle by myself (been there with friends in groups before). It was a blast figuring out how to get the Gypsies without having the whole place come down on me. (No I will not post how I did it. Figuring it out was 90% of the fun.) Quick solo hits like those are a blast. And a big reason I enjoy the game. Got the Talons after gating out LOH/M twice. And got a Sac dagger to boot.
The only others in the zone were my friend and a group at the zone/pool. (Friend joined em while I played in the castle. If I am camping something for someone I always make em come with me LOL.)

Play the game. Do what you enjoy doing, and allow others to have fun too. Kind of like RL. : )
