It can be quested and turned in for tribute points. I am guessing it will give at least 30 points. I will let you know.

I might add, I got a full blue bub of xp on my 39 character for turning this in. Great item for a low level melee alt, for picking up a common drop in Gunthak. No complaints here.
It sucks but it's free. Guess there's no reason to complain, but next time that lazy erudite can goto gunthak and kill trolls herself...

It sucks - level 65 wizard? Maybe if you fought stuff closer to your level then items you get wouldn't "suck". Kind of like a level 20 whining that the bats outside Freeport aren't dropping gems. Stick to stuff your own level.

quite right.... I find out about this quest with my 45 war and did the quest. while i was in erudin i found a mage with no ear items... not the best item but i gave it to him anyway. There are people who need stuff like this still.

Maybe, but I don't think so.
This earring is wonderful for the amount of risk to get it.
Risk = 0
Reward = AC, AGI, +5 to *THREE* Resists.
It's not gonna replace my Earring of the Solstice for my 55 Necro, but it's a nice filler for my 32 Pally alt.
(For those that don't know, get a "Crate of Supplies" from any random mob in Gunthak Beach, hand it to Senina Jolik in Erudin. As long as you aren't KOS to her you can get it.)
No fuss, no muss.

okies i got the crate.... is apprehensive good enough to do this quest?

Yep - just did the quest while dubious to her. (Not sure of her faction - amiable to the guards in Erudin).
