Think you need to re read the whole Wha' Happened thread.
You missed what Narev was saying completly and blasted the wrong guy.
Before you blast somone again, read the topic they are in - then read their post - go back and read the topic again and then re read their post. Then come to the realization that a verbal confrontation is beyond your skills and call it a day.

Are they independently wealthy, single, and catered to by a staff of servants? They may be heroes in the world of Norrath, but these guys have got to be a little out of shape and pastey in the real world!Seriously, I've been playing EQ since the first month it was released, a few years ago, and I can only boast a 59 druid, 55 paladin, and 30 rogue. And yes, I DO play too much, but apparently not too much enough. <scratches head>

Posted:Oct 08 2003 at 3:22 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Dude i've been playing 5 months and i have a 65 Druid, 56 warrior, 55 wizard... You clearly arent the powergamer you lead yourself to believe, hard work and dedication goes to this stuff
amen bro...same here I get things done I need to get done... Ive known peeps on eq for a long time and some havent progressed much since the first days...and have played x101 alts... its funny how half the eq population loves doing a wish list instead of beign serious and getting down to business
I normally try to stay out of these off topic mudslinging posts, but this one by Gladeye has me puzzled. I see this logic often in the game……….”You have achieved more then I have in this game therefore you must have no life”
Hmmm Well Gladeye maybe they are just better at EQ then you? happens ya know..........
"Some people are a fountain of knowledge as long as ya aint to thirsty"....
Maybe they don't have the amount of time you think they have. Ever concider they may work like a team? Perhaps they may even be very good friends and enjoy eachothers company and thats why they play on a daily basis. 4 hours a day isn't much when you think about it, so long as they on daily. 8 hours to sleep, 8 to work, 2 for various dinners (breakfast, lunch, supper), 1 to chores, 1 for driving to work and stuff. 4 hours is about the average raid of a few guilds I been in. Being behind a computer doesn't mean you can't socialize, just means you can't do it face to face. BTW I seriously think if you been playing that long and only have a 59 druid perhaps you better check the internet for tips on how to play your character. Druids are the second best at getting xp, first are bards.
4 hours gameplay a day isn't jack.. try keeping up dkp-wise in a TIME flagged guild, I was on for 5 and a half hours lastnight and only made it to VZ with 2 resets on TZ cuz we accidentaly aggroed VZ, another 4 hours and we could have cleared to quarm.... The higher you get, the longer is required for playtime, it has always been like that, Consider how long it took to just GET your VT key.... some people spent weeks of playtime camping the shards, then when you get your guild keyed, welcome to VT and the 3-5 hour raid... Granted you get lots of stuff, but it takes a LOONG time and a LOT of people with that type of commitment to give to progress. Now 1 tipt trial takes on average probably 4 hours, and that's if you get a descent group (read good chanter) quickly and start right away, no lfg time. Best part is, you could play for 3.5 hours, get to the boss and get smoked.. then you get a 30 minute CR, and a retry.. say hi to ANoTHer 3 hours!!
By the way if you really wanna pick on someone cause you obviously a bully maybe you should check out server Stromm, it's not even a week old and there are level 50+ on the server. Many Afterlife members have had a few years to build their characters, these guys have had a week.
You suck if thats all u got to show for 4.5 years of playing. I have 65 war, 62 enchie, 60 Beastlord, 56 Druid, 56 Bard, 53 Paladin, 51 Cleric, 50 Wizard. It's not the time you play, its what you kill when you play. Going LFG for hours sucks. 2 of your 3 classes you play are not recommended for a normal group.
I doubt any person(s) involved in an activity like that have a respectable life to speak of. I too have been playing for a considerable amount of time (2.5yrs). I don't play as much as I'd like, however that doesn't hinder my enjoyment for the game.
I'm not saying this to belittle their accomplishment. Reaching that goal would be extremely cool for any player of Everquest. I just can't fathom how ANY person can find the time to do such things. If somebody is willing to spread a little light on how this is possible, LET ME KNOW!
I've been playing MUDs as well as Everquest and various other online RPGs now, and see this post every time someone has an extremely successful character, or does something extraordinary. "Yeah, you're better than me at this game, which must mean you do nothing else with your life, and are a fat 35 year old virgin living with your parents. Good thing I'm a 6'4" JFK jr lookalike, professional bodybuilder who sleeps with supermodels every night!" Optional additions to this post include how hot your girlfriend is, your average # of one night stands in a week, and occasionally the fact that you're a Harvard MBA pulling down $200k.
Because no one in the entire world could possibly be better than you at Everquest AND have a life, right?

Congratulations on finishing the Plane of Time key/flag whatever they're calling it. Will be eagerly looking forward to some Plane of Time Loot/posts. But definitely, congrats on a job well done.

Posted:May 08 2003 at 11:39 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ya know , it amazes me that no matter what they come up with , someone says " only 12 char..wtf " . Come on people ... is anything ever good enough?? By the time you get this ( if you ever even see one ) You will have so many switchable items to raise your char to what ever . I get so tired of anything anyone ever finds that it is not an all-in-one package
It's a very nice BP, it's not worth the difficulty of the encounter, but it's nice.
The mobs difficuty prob has more to do with the fact he is a must kill for time...not that I think that a gimp mob should be droppin crap like this. I think the BP is an incredible drop off any mob!!!!
Someday I will make it this far and have a shot at an item like this......<sighs>
