Scars of VeliousLike the AC and stats, the 50hp and 50mana are great and even warrior can use wis or int at times but everyone loves stamina and MR so wow nice!
But wait, what's that? Some bard said what? Oh look, no MAGIC tag, for those of you who aren't bards we are the only class besides monks and BLs who are alowed to punch magic or not based on our hand armor. And yes sometimes we do punch stuff although the damage isn't all that noticable at 100 h2h skill (I'm capped at that so are most bards I know) it is still useful and desirable for bards to be able to punch magic so they can do so while holding an instrument. Too bad, because that is the only thing holding these back from being perfect bard gloves not that it will stop me from trying to get some.

All classes besides monks and beastlords cannot H2H a magic creature, no matter HOW magic their gloves are.

Bards can also Hand to Hand creatures that need to be hit by magic if they have magic gloves/gauntlets on. This was added a long time ago (around Kunark), when a lot of bards went all-instrument because they could do more damage with songs and instruments than with melee weapons. I doubt many bards ever H2H anymore (my H2H is proudly maxed at 100) because much better weapons are much cheaper these days.

um, they arent a H2H weapon, they are gloves. and last time i checked 30 ac on gloves was good, but i'm a caster so i may be wrong
This is certainly a nice item and one I would wear with pride, but the stats and lack of effect make it a lot less desirable than the two results of related quests. The others have a 5 pt dmg shield/atk/AC buff as well as superior AC (for the slot), stats, HP, and mana. Are the other two quests that much more difficult?
