i just did this quest and its just not relly worth it unless u dont have any money
wrongsyde sence when do mages port?
Staff sucks maybe if you never plaied Eq and had no money or tinked items but after doing the pally quest I was happy with the armor but this JEZZ this sucks and the weapon is worse.

lol, say what? my friend must not have been playing in the good old days. At level 5 you lost experience and your items. There wasn't anything with stats that you can get anywhere near this level. This is a NEWBIE item. Don't go expecting a Staff of Newbie Godhood (though I think that would rock.

Lol. it's kinda funny to remember the old GUI, to remember the hell levels, and the days when you had to run or hire an overworked druid or mage to port you everywhere you wanted to go. Old Norrath used to seem really big.
