Anyone know if they upgraded this item due to the revamp of Hate? Most (but not all) bards who go on Hate raids at least have a Barbed Ringmail or better nowadays which is better than this. This thing needs an upgrade.

Today I went on my first Hate raid and only one piece of Imbrued dropped, the legs. And I lost the fricken roll...

Drop rate on this seems to be pure luck. Was my first time in Hate, this nice BP dropped for me within the first hour, along with greaves, helm, and gauntlets (I was the only bard so got them all) Yet ive talked to plenty of bards who have gone on hate raids numerous times with no luck =( Also tends to drop when no bards are around from what ive heard. Sad to let a good item like this rot =(

Curse you! I guess for good luck like yours, they have to give out bad luck to guys like me. After 12 hours and 4 deaths, all I have to show for it are Imbrued boots and a six note blade. Then again, it was the puller's first time in PoH and was just pulling whatever he could find. Very little Scorn Banshee's were pulled. Too bad...I really really really want this breastplate.
Aye. We had a few of these (not the bp, but these Imbrued items) drop in hate last night. A total of maybe 11 bard items (including the strings instrument from the Maestro). Guess what. Not a single bard on the raid.. /sigh

Second Hate raid for me, first with my 52nd bard, which I primarily solo'd to there after the mid 30s. Three imbrued items dropped, Guants, arms and bracer. Also though, we got Kelin's Seven String Lute. Guess, what I was the only bard there too and got them all. Made out like a bandit! WHOOT Faveo!

All I can say about PLing a bard is go for it until about level 27, when we get our first charm (more like 30 when we can chant down the former pet), or 38 when we get Chant of Flame and can chant kite, great. However, once a bard gets down chant kiting and even better swarm kiting, then it's frankly slow to PL a bard IMHO.
I have taken a bard, partially twinked from my retired 27 warrior, from 1 to 45 in less than a month. I would be level 50 now, but I want to swarm Wyverns and feel the need to work on my CoV faction first, so I'm swarming giants in GD and EW for so-so exp and faction.

On Solusek Ro, there is a special script in Hate.
It goes like this :
if "Saania" is among "/who all" then
do_not_drop_imbrued_breastplate.
else drop_it_like_hell.
I have been visiting Hate a lot, I have even camped my char there, in those times where there was no thurgadin gate potion :) (and I hadnt no qualified alchemist friend).
I have every imbrued piece but the BP. I have seen almost every gear rot also, including several legs.
Once, I connected, there was a guild in Hate and they had two bards. Both had looted 2 breastplates that very day. (yes that makes 4).
Another time, I was on an alt, and I got a tell from a friend saying an Imbrued BP was about to rot. The time to connect Saania, and it was gone.
etc. etc. etc.
This BP is not that rare, it's just that it doesnt want to drop when I am there.

Ok...how's this one for size? I'm the highest bard in our guild with another trailing at lvl 47 (I'm lvl 51 btw). Our guild did Hate one evening that I couldn't play. No bards were present, of course, and guess what dropped? Not one, but two of these dang BP's...left there to rot away *sniff*. Considering that these are ultra rare drops and two of them dropped in one night, I'm still bashing my head against the wall.

I've spent over 100 hours in hate, and have never seen one drop.
Going nuts, i'm in full singing steel and a lambent breastplate!

This past weekend my guild was in Hate on Cazic Thule and it seemed to be a good weekend for bard drops.
Our bard only drops included:
sleeves, pants, helm, and a martune rapier
There was another raid going on concurrently and the bard items I know for sure they got were:
pants and 2 breastplates (1 rotted I got the other). The interesting thing about the breastplates was they dropped within 5 minutes of each other....very odd for an item that is supposedly uber-rare.
I should also note that our non-bard gear was very slim indeed. A couple pieces of cleric gear, 2 rogue tunics, ranger boots from the second floor, and a druid bracer.
All in all a very good weekend to be the only bard there the majority of the time.
It's also worth noting that there was another bard there who had a bp already who told me he had spent nearly 400 hours in Hate before he got it. You just have to get lucky and hit the drops at the right time I guess....or maybe I just had good karma this weekend ;)

Anyone know how's the drop rate of this Imbrued Platemail Breastplate? I have 15 trips at Hate and still have not seen this dropped (also I have checked some others loot report). Thanks.

On the COUNTLESS hate raids i have been on, seeking this, i have gotten "0" breastplates, while EVERY other class has gotten all their hate armor. So i would like to point out, dont set high expectations for getting this, unless your group kills banshee's alot and the bard boss every raid, your chances are slim.....

For what it's worth, the Imbrued BP is not lore, guess you can keep others in the bank, as it is no drop.
