Dropped from Claw of Khati Sha today, during the 10th and final battle in Grimling Forest.

Forgive my massive confusion, but aren't the wars in Hollowshade?

Does this happen in Grimling Forest too?

There are 10 wars, or missions, that can be triggered in Grimling Forest also.
Some info
# Aug 06 2003 at 4:48 PM Rating: Excellent
Okay, got this item last night (Thank goodness for a good random!) and I've got some info. :)

1: Yes, it is a 10 slot 100% wt reducing bag.
2: NO, it does not reduce weight of carried money! (It did use to, this is a recent change)
3: It comes from the Claw of Khati Sha. This mob is the final mob that spawn during the grimling wars.
4: Minimum # of people needed 6. You can NOT do this with less than that. With only 6, all would need to be 55+, and be able to pull with a fair bit of range and/or send pets to fight.
5: recommended # of people is at least 2 groups, 45+.

We, StormWeavers Reborn, finally completed the grimling wars last night (along with a few Universal Guardians helping) on the Storm Hammer server.

The quest can also only be done when the zone resets, which is pretty much only after the server goes down. The entire time from start to finish is about 4 hours or so, which is a pretty good dedication for that many people. There are, however, some pretty good drops during the other 9 raids for levels 40-55 or so if you are not in an uberguild and twinked out to a massive degreee.

Mob?

I can't find any information about the mob that drops this item. Anyone have some solid info on who/what/where?

Thanks in advance
Bottomless Bag!
# Apr 29 2003 at 12:47 PM Rating: Good
If it's bottomless how can you get your items back out? If it is bottomless the items are still falling there is no way your arm can reach that far. Even if this is just an exageration and it just means it's a really deep bag, think of the poor gnomes they can barely get stuff out of the bottom of a normal sized bag. 8P
Holds Everything
# Apr 29 2003 at 8:01 AM Rating: Default
I would think this holds items too, since it says it's a 10 slot giant items. If it was just a money purse, then I don't think it would say that.

I'd like to test this theory out. Where is this MoB that drops it? Is it a rare spawn? The item itself says common, and I find that hard to believe, if it's a 100% wt reduction pack.

Yes it holds regular items. It is dropped "Claw of Khati Sha" in the final 10th raid in Grimling Forest. I have been involved in one of his kills and know about another and in the two kills he dropped it once. Also dropped Medallion of the Hero of Shar Vahl, Greaves of Living Shadow, and Crown of Living Shadow.
Money reducer
# Apr 29 2003 at 2:03 AM Rating: Default
I do believe purses only affect money, which makes this item very good all the same. Money weighs a lot, and lord knows how many tens of thousands of copper I've destroyed because of the weight of the stuff. This item is very handy...

Purses have affected everything put into them up to this point, so I can't see SOE changing this now. What I would like to know is a little more about the mob. (LVL, Place holder, How hard it was for what size group, where to find the mob, or if it a quest item) I know that it says "dropped from the Claw of the Khati Sha" but there is no such MOB in the Beastiary, so it must be new. Was it a trigered spawn?

I would love to get this. A 100% wieght reduction purse that is managable at 45, when the 80% one takes a raid force of 50's. It wouldn't bee the first time that they made a better item drop off of an easier spawn, but they are known to nerf the encounters.
nodrop
# Apr 28 2003 at 10:43 PM Rating: Default
I'd suppose that the bag itself is nodrop, for it IS a 10 slot giant sized 100% WR bag. Can't have TOO many tradable ones in the game. :P
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 28 2003 at 9:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok, is this thing no drop or does it display as no drop because it has a no drop item in it?

Its a purse, too, so doesn't that mean that since its 100% all coins are weightless also?
