I'm a 25th Warrior, I was fighting in Splitpaw and we were all camping but one of my healers took off before I could get a heal and the other was oom. I was down to only 2 bubs of health and as you all know, getting back that health for a warrior can take a good 30 mins. One friend I was with was fortunate enough to have had a friend donate him the fungi tunic. He lends it to me to regain my HP. Not even 5 mins. I was full health again.
Doesn't matter too much with those negatives. With one of these I could actually solo again.

Ceremonial Iksar Chestplate is 12 tics and Fungi is 17 tics. Hope it helps

the Ceremonial Iksar Breastplate is effect: Regeneration. a 5 per tick regen. add 1 to that for non-regening classes. And 2 for Trolls/Iksars. Thus making it 7 per tick standing for Regening classes, and 6 for non. Fungi tunic is 15 per tick, plus the added natural regen. At higher levels, regening races can go 12 per tick without something like this.
15+12=27 hps per tick sitting down. Think of a troll/Iksar with that...

This or the Phase Spider Carapace. Whats really amazing is that this tunic gives me a total of 30ac even though it has -10agi. -10dex doesnt mean much to me because I don't have a weapon that procs. Having 900+AC at lvl 44 is very nice. I barely ever get scratched. This is a very nice tunic and it looks awesome one me. (Iksar Monk). I got this when I was lvl 40 and I earned it all on my own. I don't care if he did great buying/selling to get the plat up to make the purchase (which is doubtful that ANYONE who won this would sell it). The point is if you earn it, you were there for the camp, fought the mob, and won the roll. Hell my 40 monk has an fbss. I was at that camp a lot and one never dropped. I eventually bought one. I didn't earn it, i bought it. I don't feel like waiting 3 hrs to get in a group and camp something that may RARELY drop. Not how I want to spend my EQ time. There are places that are better exp than lguk that's not as camped. Hell, I've put in 40+ hrs in the Raster camp and that sucks as it is, but there isn't a way around that one.

Why does everyone assume that when someone questions another's statement do they automatically think it's a bash then a honest question? This is how flaming starts...always assuming for the negative.
Yes, I am sure we have all gotten stuff at lower prices or from handouts...but a FUNGI TUNIC you would never seen given. And that is what I was trying to say that this item is awesome. Just wanted to understand the initial guys comments of first saying he traded stuff for it, then he earned it on his own. If I understand that, then maybe I can work my way to get one when I get to his level.

This Tunic is Fantastic. It will not win you all your fights but it cuts downtime to a minimum. My Monk has solo'd to 30 with this. To take reds melee until low on hp then FDeath. As you regen to full you can then re-engage mob.
If you have sow, just run around in a few circles, currently soloing Gnolls in SK with mine. Traded an Oggok Cleaver for it, which in my mind, is an awesome trade

WELL AS A LVL 58 SHAMAN I GET 20 HP A TIC....AND WITH REGROWTH ON 35 A TIC OR SO.....
Hehe... hit canabalize a few times, sit for full hp (2 or 3 tics with above info)... I definatly need to start a shaman :-)

Real nice item with decreasing benefits as you raise in levels. Not quite as Godly as people may lead you to believe. Have a druid cast the 15hp regan spell on you to check it out(no -10's with that) Better yet do what I do ...have my druid casting 20hp/tick regan from my laptop along with all other buffs, easy to get any char to level 10 in a couple hours.

I have to agree, it is great for getting chars up to the mid - high 20s but after that it makes little difference in combat. no level 30 is going to solo yellows just because they have the tunic on. It does work well if you partner with a non healer type. Probably its best use at high levels is keeping you alive as you run to the zone.
I disagree. I used this tunic to level to 45 solo by killing animals in EW using panick animal. I never have to heal myself. I fight until I'm oom (about 10 or more fights) then I med to full. Without this tunic I wouldn't level half as fast. I was getting about a level every 3-4 hours excluding level 40 and 45.

Well, my former BP was a stonewood mail from POG 30 ac 10 str 50 hp. I chose to use this one because I figured the regen would give me 150 extra hp in a minute, but 9 ac wouldn't make that much of a difference when I was getting hit (Tis less than 1 percent of my total AC after all :P). When / if I get my Deepwater BP I will probably switch back :)

I used this tunic on my warrior throughout his 30's and early 40's to solo giants in FM and Yetis/Drovs in DL. I disagree with the thinking that this is not useful at hire levels, I have escaped numerous close deaths through the regeneration of this tunic (namely a failed Kedge raid and a misadventure in Mistmoore) and this tunic enabled me to survive a failed raid on Nagafen when cleric were told to evac and had to leave the tanks behind. The only tank survivors were myself and a monk who put on their tunics when the retreat order came. This item is priceless at any level.

Around 20hps per tick, not sure exactly though. The Iksar Ceremonial BP is 5-6 hps per tick.

Someone wanted my Phase Spider Carapace and I got this in return. I miss my carapace, but I doubt I'll ever give this fungi up! Back to DN for another carapace. I fight with this on and notice no difference in my warrior ability and I was one of those agi/dex nuts. High agi and dex helps, but the -10 is no biggie. And I know the regen has gotten me outta trouble when the cleric is oom. Going to sell my embalmers knife and not ever worry about bandaids again. Well maybe not, I'll bandaid the folks who are unfortunate enough not to have this great BP.

I was in Lake of Ill Omen grouped trying to hit lvl 24, when I saw an even ogre warrior (lvl 22) soloing Sarnaks one by one. He would pull one, kill it, then immediately pull another. I shrugged it off as a regen buff. But an hour later, I /who him and he was lvl 25! I walked up to him and "accidently" inspected him. Sure enough he had the Fungus Tunic equipped. His life never went below 60% while soloing. I'm now lvl 31 and he is currently lvl 56. Cheating? Cheap? Laziness? Who cares, I want one!
LOL!! That happened exactly in the same way to me!! I was in Cazic-Thule zone and there was a level 25 or so rogue fighting there, so i asked if i could join her. I joined and all i had to do was cast haste and she could solo everything at once without having to worry about health!!
I am now level 32 and she is level 54 rake !! Cheating, laziness, twinking? I want one still !!

You are an idiot. Verant themselves have listed the bonuses of each stat.
AGI - ups defensive skill increases and adds a small amount of AC (I think around 1 for every 6 agi)
DEX - ups offensive skill increases and adds to chance to proc
STR - Adds to carrying capacity and base ATK. Also factors into max damage
STA - Adds to breathing capacity and raw HP
INT - ups all skill increases and adds to int caster mana pools
WIS - adds to wis caster mana pools
CHA - affects chance to charm and affects prices
That's it

I was lucky enough to get one of these with my higher level monk. I created a warrior and gave it to him. At 13th with a Yak and Icetooth claws yesterday I soloed a Red Wooly Mammoth in Everfrost. :) Well with a little help from SOW and running from one end to the other three times to allow for the regen to take place, but yes I soloed the mammy. :) By far the best item I've ever had, no down time at all.

the tunic wasn't nerfed, the robe was a long long long time ago.
although, their were rumors that the tunic was also having a snare effect on the test server.
