ohh yes, no monk wants these, monks get near 0 in almost every slot for armor, they have tons of weight to spare and these arent that heavy, but there is better gear

Is it me or is monk gear getting heavier and heavier? We can barely take hits as it is. With all the gear that is coming out we are going to hit our weight limit fast. Not like its alot of good monk armor out there. Every high lvl monk I ran into has almost has the same equipment. Do the gods hate us????
This isn't monk gear. Before you go off flaming me, I myself am a monk. Sony got lazy so they made things easier on themselves by lumping Dru/Bst/Mnk together as "leather classes." In case you can't tell by now, that's a joke. Using the material a class wears to logic their way out of fixing a nerf is ridiculous. I wear leather, I get hit hard, I dodge a lot. You wear plate, you get hit a lot less hard, you dodge almost as well as me. Sure that's balanced. Monks are the rangers of EQ now.
According to the most recent patch message, Sony sees monks as "balanced," while druids and wizards are quadding in PoF. Thanks.
umm yeah, a weight of 2 on a single piece of monk armor better have better stats than these. There are pieces comparable to these that weigh alot less and better that weight this or about the same. These are for those who are lucky to weigh there limit or less and have weight to spare, but I think if you have worse and can use these I think they'll be too heavy for you. 12ac and 35hp isn't that great, now the resists make these and I don't think they warrant the weight unless you can afford it or this is your situational gear.
So in closing, these are decent legs...just not great for monkeys
not many Monks I know want any piece of armor to weigh more than .8 stone or so. this looks more geared to Druids and Beastlords(and ones that have maxed their Wis). Monks would pass these up for lighter legs with better stats. Could be wrong. /shrug
Would have to agree with the resists. Although I wouldn't chose to wear these as my main legs, would hold onto them for resist gear if anything. 2 weight can be heavy when your wearing a PSC already, but the rest your resist gear doesn't weigh squat! =)
