I've seen these going for as low as 2k on my server, just curious did the nerf it so it drops more or something? I have also seen a bunch more Fungi and Rubi BPs for sale too. Who brought all of the regen stuff out into the open, cuz it seems like it just showed up all over the place or something. Just my 2cp

RE: Price

Rubicite BPs sell on Saryn? Wow, I gotta Char transfer off of Torv! Don't think I've even heard of anyone on our server that has a Rubi BP!
(although I'm sure someone has one)

VI: please please please make Rubi drop again, please :)

RE: Price
# Jan 10 2002 at 2:12 AM Rating: Decent
No one on torv has a Rubicite BP. It was removed from the game long before torv was even put up. I'm pretty sure it was removed before saryn was put up as well, so i dunno wtf the original poster is talkin about. I guess it's possible saryn isn't as new as I think it is though. Basically only servers you can guarantee that still have rubicite floating around is the original ones. (don't think saryn was an original, name doesn't sound right to be one of the original, but who knows.)

Pricing I am lousy at, but I can tell you these do exist on Saryrn...

While they have not dropped (besides a few rumored special events, which I have not personally had verified), since Saryrn was brought up several migrated to Saryrn, same way you see mana stones on Saryrn.....

I know they exists since I have had one since almost day one of Saryrn, and in NFP have seen them for sale on rare occasions.

couple months ago i met a lvl 25 warrior that was twinked with several pieces of rubi, said she got from 20 to 25 that day, lol, that armor looks sweet, wish i could get some
Okay dumb question, but...
# Jul 08 2001 at 5:13 PM Rating: Decent
Got one of these today for 5.5k (YEs, good deal)
I am a 33ranger no-twinked, i sold almost everything i had (including my soul ehehehe) And i'm wondering if i get chloro casted on me, will chloro give me the 10hp's a tick, then the 6hps a tick iu get from this, will it stack? also bard songs, will they work on it as well? another question, if i get regen casted on me, will it be like having regen x2??

yes.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 04 2001 at 5:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Totally camped out in TT today for 9 hours, not one Chesplate. The wizzy Ffroak (spelling) is pretty weak if you have good fr/cr/mr and necro is weak to with moderate pr/dr. Not one Zoglic spawned, quite disappointing since this is what I came for. I am a 55 druid, but plan on making a very twinked cat in about 6 months. My group for the majority of the time consisted of Chanter 55, druid 55 (me) and rogue 47. We didn't need the rogue as the chanter and I were just as efficient without him, however he is a guildmate so we let him have a cut in our lewts. Of note: only forager and hunter spawn rares, think that was mentioned already.. but just reiterating for the lazy people like myself who don't like to read everything forever and a day. They spawn in many spots in a wide area, but it is not to bad with maxed tracking. 55 druid can solo, but it is slower. With a chanter C2 we were fear kiting these bad boys all day long with no problem what so ever. See what makes it worse is we had constant pulls going. Mob drops, I go for next pull. Hopefully my next session will bring me a little more luck.
Rarity?

I camped this cycle for 8 hrs today with some guildies. Me 48 Ranger pulling, and 4 or 5 other high 50 ppl took all of these with little difficulty. We got 2 CP in the time we were there. We also got a Hangman's noose,a among other things.

Good xp for me, but pulling those level 50 sks can kinda hurt (read: 700hp ht). Not to mention the wizzies and necros.....

Every Shammy Wants One!
# Jul 03 2001 at 7:35 PM Rating: Decent
I acquired one of these last night through a trade in exchange for a GJB and, after just trying it out for a couple of hours, think it has to be one of the ultimate Shammy items. I was in a full group in the CoM where I was the only healer/buffer/haster/slower with 4 meleers and a wizzie. I have been in groups like that before and the downtime between pulls usually gets considerable but with this BP on stacked with Chloroplast I barely had time to sit and Med! I was chain hitting the Cannibilize button a lot of time and the mana kept flowing in (also helped that the Ranger would through me a few heals between pulls as well).

I would recommend this item to any Shammy out there. It has no real weaknesses. High AC, reasonable weight and a permanent effect of Regeneration plus it looks really good on Iksars. Kinda a faded green colour with a nice design.
Minimum lvl really needed
# May 26 2001 at 11:36 AM Rating: Good
Do u need minimum lvl to get the effect of regen?
RE: Minimum lvl really needed
# Jul 19 2001 at 5:11 PM Rating: Decent
Chances are it works @ all levels. I know all singing steel requires you to be level 45, except the gaunts, which have permenant enduring breath, which works @ level 1. As far as i know, all items w/ permenant effects work @ any level.
Stacks real nicely
# May 17 2001 at 4:02 PM Rating: Default
Got one for my shammy. No icon appears, but stacks nicely with regen the spell and regen the bard song. Combined, she regenerated 450hp in 30 seconds. Works great when using Cannibalize to trade HP for manna.
?
# May 17 2001 at 2:29 PM Rating: Good
This may sound stupid but i have never had something that has a permenat effect
Does the regen symbol appear in the corner like a spell or do you just know its on?
RE: ?
# Jun 06 2001 at 9:01 PM Rating: Excellent
It doesnt show a symbol on the screen. just the effect is there. no icons.

# May 15 2001 at 9:47 AM Rating: Default
Wondering how big of a group you will need to take this guy out and what class he is how rare is he i have been a on couple of TT raids i got my Hangman Noose sunday never seen this guy only other thing i have seen drop is that stupid club 3str 3wis
RE: how hard is this guy
# Jul 19 2001 at 5:08 PM Rating: Decent
He's pretty easy. I got mine as a 51 bard, fighting w/ a 54 druid friend, & i'm sure he could've soloed the mob pretty easily.
RE: how hard is this guy
# Jun 01 2001 at 2:39 PM Rating: Default
In a group of 3 lvl 51's. My paladin, a mage and a druid to pull, we took him and his pet down. He is a spectral iksar with a skeletal pet, so undead DD's are really helpful in taking him down. We've taken 2 down so far. I would say a full group of higher 40's could take him down. But have a good healer (cleric). Like any of the froglock hunter or forager rare spawns, he hits hard.
Good luck all
what type of armor
# May 14 2001 at 1:02 AM Rating: Default
What type of armor is the BP? Is it chain, plate or leather?
RE: what type of armor
# Jul 19 2001 at 5:06 PM Rating: Decent
It's chain. Dark grey chain.
RE: what type of armor
# Jun 14 2001 at 3:23 PM Rating: Decent
I have given mine to a high elf paladin and a couple of half elves to let them heal up a little, and in all cases, as well as on a wood elf like me, it looks like dark grey chain/banded.

Stacks with ALL form of regeneration spells
BP gives 5pts per tick (just like the regeneration dru/shm spell)
regen
# May 07 2001 at 9:49 PM Rating: Default
I heard this does not stack with the regeneration spell, but does stack with high lvl regen's like chloro or regrowth does anyone know.
RE: regen
# Jul 19 2001 at 5:04 PM Rating: Decent
Stacks w/ everything, since it's permenant.
HP Per Tick
# Apr 14 2001 at 9:56 AM Rating: Decent
I would have to correct. its 6hp per tick.
Just thought I'd add that.
RE: HP Per Tick
# Jul 19 2001 at 5:01 PM Rating: Decent
For my 51 bard, it is doing 6hp per tick, as of 17/19/01. My hp regens 7 standing, 8 sitting, thus 6hp added.
RE: HP Per Tick
# Apr 24 2001 at 11:21 PM Rating: Decent
not sure what the rate it changes at by level but at 49 it is regening at 15 hp per tick
how much is this supposed to regen?
# Dec 19 2000 at 2:47 AM Rating: Decent
how many hp per tick? does it ever change?
RE: how much is this supposed to regen?
# Mar 25 2001 at 1:48 AM Rating: Decent
Yup, changes with level... bout 11 to 15hp a tick depending on level i thinks...but who really cares? better than sittin on your butt all day if you can't heal yourself.
RE: how much is this supposed to regen?
# Dec 28 2000 at 3:54 PM Rating: Decent
it regens an extra 5hp per tick.

Doesnt sound much , but it has saved my downtime hugely.A very very nice item.
RE: how much is this supposed to regen?
# Dec 20 2000 at 7:35 PM Rating: Default
It adds 5hp per tick, wether sitting or standing.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 27 2000 at 7:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) DOES THIS STACK WITH REGEN OR REGROWTH?
RE: how much is this supposed to regen?
# Jan 04 2001 at 1:13 AM Rating: Decent
Yes it does. Now to be really trippy, consider the character my friend plays. He has a 43rd lvl iksar shaman. He wears this chestplate and has chloroplast going all the time. 10 points regen for chloro, 5 for the breastplate, 5 sitting with your innate iksar regen. 20 points total per tick. Throw in cannibalize and you can see why his downtime is SEVERELY shortened :)
Treeform

Dont laugh but treeform is a good regen when you dont need to run around. I dont know if it will stack with chloroplast with the recent patch... but if you had treeform, chloroplast and this item(if druids could wear it hehe) it may be close to that 20pts of regen, maybe more depending on how much treeform regen is. Cant wait till i have one of these for my rogue, rogue is only lvl 15 now so it should work real well when I bite off more than I can chew (that happens often).
