I'm not disparaging this peice of gear, it is a nice item.... however, the Elysian's tunic has better wis, and some decent stats on it (UP is a little chancy to get to unless you know what you're doing though)... the Quest armor (Thurg, Kael, Twighlight(hmm, maybe)) IMHO seems to be comprable as well, given the stats and bonuses and effects that go with them. A PoF raid for this peice of gear? I don't think that all you druids (yes, I have a druid too) should plan to spend alot of time in PoF waiting for this stuff to drop.. if you've got that much time on your hands, squat in Kael for raids, and up your CoV for Skyshrine armor at the same time.
If,however, you justhappen to be in PoF for a raid, and it drops, Gratz to you, in that event, if it's better than what you've already got, roll it.
That's just IMHO

Remember, pieces like this are the original Planer armors in the game. When these came out, they were so far ahead of anything else in the game it was hard to believe. I know that now I look at Thorny Vine armor and almost laugh at it when compared with most high level equipment, but I very easily remember the first time that stuff got found, it was the coolest things rangers had ever seen. I personally think the powercreep in the game is destroying it, I would love it if this kind of planar equipment was still the top of the line, but oh well.

I couldn't agree more with you k. I miss the old days when duel weilding my icepaw war claw and frozen long sword, and wearing all etched ivy ment my ranger was really decked out. In a way I also miss there not being pok or the translocaters. It ment people usually found places to hunt in the area where they were. Now people just follow the same path everytime and have forgoten about 85% of the zones in the game.

Take it to the Heirophant guy in PoK. I got a Raw Diamond for a piece yesterday... not bad considerin it was no-drop and I wasn't about to give up my ES Vambs for the slinky little Vermi arms...
got mine in a pick-up/open raid to Fear that a friend invited me to. Thx Lalandraa :) dropped off the first gorgon we killed, couldn't beleive it. won the roll between the only 2 druids on the raid, then picked up a pair of the boots to go with it a little while later.
all in all, it makes an awesome upgrade to my imbued elven chainmail i was wearing. i dont care what people say, this thing is not junk, its just older than all the "broken" gear luclin introduced. the PoH bp may be better, but im proud to be wearing my old school 13wis vermi tunic.
...not too mention i can now do one hell of a ranger impression if i pull out my gimp parrying dagger! :)

I'll be sure to go onto Brell (where i don't play by the way) and send a tell to treynon just to LAUGH AT YOU...sorry, high lvl newbies still crack me up, it's funny...it's also funny when people try to buy/sell things on allakhazam, especially on obscure old-game items (this has been in game for what, 2 1/2 years?), and especially nodrop ones

Ok.. I know that the Vermiculated bracers can drop in PoH (Which is where I go mostly) I got them off a haunted chest.. Is there any chance that this tunic does as well?

Brie my 52 Druid on Sol Ro just got UBBER lucky and won this last night in Fear,, very uncommon drop off of a gorgon, and looks really good.

Yes this is a nice Item but dotn start dreaming about it yet. Im 52 been on several raids there and have never seen it. And unfortunatly most of the druid stuff in this zone isnt really good I wish I spent my time porting for "donations" then i could by equivalent stuff and some alot better. I have the crown woot int no wis druid only no drop, probly going to destroy it.
Went on my very first plane raid tonight and got this off the second kill after i arrived!! Also got the crown which will be great for working on skills!! Thanks Aetherium!!!
