I wonder if shiverback hide jerkin tastes like beef jerkin?

Well i know we all expect more as you are in the planes but lets be honest. Planes armor really arnt that amaisingly great. Most 46+ monks you see more often than not have non planiar gear with mutch better stats than the Shiverback gear, also just about every monk with Veliose that is 46+ probably attends kael raids quite often and will get a piece of corroded leather or get a guilde that loots one when there are no raiders who need that particular piece to MQ it for him. and there are almost no saves on any of this gear id rather wear my Gold Threaded Tunic 20AC +10sv all from GM event on Hallowene

well im a 23 monk, and i think this armor is ok considering i got a whole set of Wu fighting armor

it should at least have its own unique look like Wu armor.

first off u have no right telling me that this armor sucks, it adds to your agi which is awesome= less chance of getting hit right now i have a full set of this and a full set of panther skin. i even tested what u said i got my level 56 warrior friend with his Awesome full cobalt and my "crappy" shiverback, we both had out epic weapons, i was level 53 he was 56 guess who won of course me... my dex str and agi wis int chr and sta were ALOT higher than the warriors even with this "crappy" armor on my fists right now are 16/9 plus i have my haste items on i was attacking him endlessly. he would hit me every now and then but thank fully not for much. my epic weapons effect is HASTE near 60% plus my disaplines i stomped him badly

also on anther note rogues are good but at later levels still backstabb is nothing to our ashened hand attack which will most likely kill anything in nearly 1 hit

The thing sucks. It all sucks. Shiverback, as plana armor, is horrible. It pisses the heck out of me just to think about how horribly jipped the monk class f when it comes to even slightly good armor. We have nothing! Warriors have the good crafted to twink with, then theres mithril, ravenscale for rogues, all that chitin stuff for fruids, lambent for bards, tatomic for shamans, the list goes on. THEN those same classes get better upgrades, pallys get deepwater, bards singing steel, warriors cobalt, etc. THEN we get to planesdrop armor. Monks get frikkin cured silk and crescent, which as armor goes both lack horribly. I mean sure if monks could wear crafted theyd be far too powerful, but cmon! Give me a break! They desverve much better! hEY GUYS, iM GOING TO THE COBOLT SCARS... OH COOL, I CANT GO IM GOING TO BUY A SEWING KIT TO MAKE MY CURED SILK, WHICH DO U THINK IS BETTER MY CRESCENT ARMOR OR YOUR COBOLT?
