I've had one linked to me today, and it is weight of 0.5 ... like that 0.4 is really going to matter though.
Well, 0.4 weight is a stack less bandages you can carry without going over-weight (unless you have uber weight-reducing bags); that's pretty much a complete heal you lose from the difference in weight.
Course if you have a friendly mage to summon goodies for you that's not a problem :).

Can someone please verify if these are useable by Beatlords? Almost everything else monk only was given to Beastlords, but I'm not sure if this is the same.

Nope, not beastlord usable as of April 14, 2002. Got me a full set except the Gi today.

Unless you are on a pvp server I see no point to the existence of this stuff. By the time you can get to Dalnir to get it, you should already have much better armour than this stuff. Wu armour is better than this. Just my opinion though...

I don't know about you, but the one extra AC and little extra AGI isn't that good now that this weighs the same as a Wu's Gi, and gives 7 STR...combined with the SvM and AGI, what mid level monk wouldn't want this?
BTW, when my guild raided Dalnir, 1 run through everything, this and a headband dropped...all our monks quit, so we shouted out...there was a monk in the zone (level 32 if I remember correctly) looking to upgrade Wu's with this...too bad everything had repopped, and by the time she got down there it had rotted.

1. That post was two years ago. A 44 Ranger today with a few thousand platinum worth of Bazaar gear is a God compared to the average level 30 from two years ago.
2. At 44 are anything but the nameds in Dalnir not green to you? There's a big difference between a level 25-30 raid where the mobs are blue and above and a level 44 killing greens who can barely damage them.

I was lvl 30 when I went to dalnirs to get some crescent armor. I was with my lvl 56 mage and lvl 48 enchanter friends. The crescent gi dropped about twice as much as anything else. Pants dropped a little less then gi. We spent three days there and I got the Gi, pants, sleeves, headband, and boots. Prepare to sit there for a long time, cause we were killing klys constantly. Probably killed 500 of them. Got quite a few duplicates though. Maybe it's just my luck...

In your inventory it looks like a robe, but when you wear it it looks like the Cured Silk Gi or the Master Wu's Gi.

I have been there for a while and although anything is possible here is the list as I know it: Cohort drops Gi, Follower drops gloves, Invoker drops legs, Evoker drops shoes, Believer drops headband, and Acolyte drops sleeves. There has been absolutely no variation on this, it's ALWAYS the same.

yes, i was lvl 35 with a 37 druid and we were able to get me a gi in 2 days and a headband in 2 days, so it is totally possible.
the gi and the boots are the best, mainly boots because boots for monks are often hard to come by, and crescent slippers have great stats.

Heh...Cohorts are found all over the place, as well as all the other Kly.....the drop rate of any of the crescent is a small percentage. The Gi is the rarest of all the drops. No one kly drops only one kind of crescent. I've gotten several different pieces from the same kind of Kly. Just go to the church on the 3rd floor and camp that....couple hours there and you'll have what you need!

Hmm, I'm a 40 Monk and I was wondering. When would you all think I would be able to go down and maybe solo the pool room? Or somewhere on the 2nd or 3rd floor that I could camp? I really need to replace my Cured Silk pieces with Crescent Pieces hehe.

should have no problem setting up a camp in pool at 40 and fighting singles. On 3rd, if you can get psat th room full of kly to get out, without getting nuked to death, you can prob do that too in bbq room fighting pops or crusader room.
