as of last patch (?)
recommended lvl of 34 still quite nice for druids in that lvl range though i prefer kobold hide boots with ext affliction or affliction eff II(i forget which) but it all depends on your play style

Grey Flesh Gloves thats all i have to say, once you get those you dont need to try the whole switching game.

hehehe, I do the same thing... I have a pair of Kobold Hide Boots ( ) and switch out with these often: If I need the WIS and HP for healing in a group I use the Repugnant and when I am soloing (as a Druid: Ensnare, Root, DoT, repeat) I swith to the Kobolds for the extra damage it does.

I also will swap my Testament of Vanear ( ) from my Book of Obulus ( ) when I need the extra WIS for just recovering mana faster, because Obulus has extra healing capabilities (Improved Healing II) and extra stats.

Higher Wisdom will not make you med up faster. It would only increase the size of your mana pool. Recovery rate is tied to Clarity effects, Flowing thought effects, and Mana Regen AA's. That's about it. Wis will only change the size of your pool, not how fast it comes back.

Bought these today for 100pp. They look like regular brown leather boots on my Beastlord. I love the Bazaar on weekends.

This item is not exclusive to Treasure Sorter Neiben, it drops off multiple creatures in the zone, I have seen them dropp off mobs in the Hate tunnel, and off of Ship mobs.

I have camped every boat with the exception of the Windscorn for many many hours (at least 20 hours on each boat) and have also camped luggalds in the tunnels and the refinery mobs and the Hungry Shark bar for many an hour too. I have never ever seen these drop off of anything except Treasure Sorter Neiben.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but its extremely rare if it does and probably a glitch. Or since I have let many pair rot or go to others in the zone because they were lore, perhaps someone killed Neiben, looted them, and gave them to these mobs as a joke or unexpected benefit to others.

Shouldn't an item with the word repugnant in it's name, have a negative charisma modifier?
RE: Question
# May 19 2003 at 2:38 PM Rating: Default
Or in the case of the item above, no modifier. I am still trying to figure out how a hive fiend brain(think thats the one) has a + to charisma. I cant see walking around with a brain and having people think its sexy..

these would be a nice upgrade from my wu's, i might have to try to get a pair

He spawned for us in the first warehouse as you enter from Gunthak. As you come in, take the left street, and it is the second one on the right, before the armoroy. We were just hunting the storage workers for a druid's gold emblem (for their quested heal spell) and he popped in the "a shady treasure sorter" spot.

Hope that helps, grats to Sunry for both the boots and spell =).

Just to add to this, having killed Neiben about a dozen times or more, I can reliably say that any shady treasure sorter is a PH for him in any warehouse.

The emblems drop from the two warehouses by the docks on the other side of the zone.. not too far away from where you are.. There is a safe spot where you can sit and such right beside a little wall.

We killed Treasure Sorter Neiben 3 times and he dropped these each time.
