Like many others, I had two Runes of Attraction that wouldn't stack. I was able to use both of them to craft Spell: Gravity Flux. The names of the recipes are actually different; one of them is Spell: Gravity Flux (Rune of Attraction - Seb). I'll bet the third type works also, I wonder what its recipe is called?
The /outputfile inventory command also shows that the two I had use different ID numbers. One was #11748. The one that's apparently called "Seb" was #11777.
Edited to note that the spells created by the two recipes DO stack.
I believe expert runes are part of the process in which Researches use practice runes to get skill ups. Thru the course of practicing, you combine and get "complete" runes and I think expert rune is one of these. I could be wrong though.
I collect runes for research and i keep them on my mule, i picked one of these up in an ldon the other day and when i went to put it on my mule it wouldn't stack with my other 3 Rune of Attraction. Anyone else have this problem? Just a bug or is there some reason for it? You know, like Runes of Fulguration
Yeah, I also have Runes of Attraction that will not stack with each other. I do notice that "Rune of Attraction" is used for two different Wiz spells -- one level 24, the other level 44. Maybe these are actually different runes. However, I checked what a vendor would offer me for them and it was the same for both (about 1p2g).
Mages never get the spell Levitate at any level. They get a conjuration spell at 39 called Summon Ring of Flight that will summon a NO RENT ring that has 2 charges of levitation though.
According to the spell description, Levitate, no class gets it at 24 so I have no idea where you got that info.
I know where they got the info...from EQTraders... this is their listing:
Spell: Levitate MAGIC ITEM Level Needed: 24 Skill: Alteration Mana Cost: 30 WT: 0.1 Size: SMALL Class: WIZ Race: ALL Components: rune of attraction, rune of expulsion In: lexicon, sorcerer's lexicon Yield: 1 This combine may only be made by Wizards
Now, "level needed" could mean the level required to DO the combine, but if you're not that familiar with EQT I can see how someone may think it's a level 24 spell.
