In order to get this awesome earing you must put aside a day for killing. Grachnist The Destroyer does have 2k hit points and is hard to take down so bring a friend. He sometimes soawns with a whip. if this happens he swing at about dly 20 and HURTS. its good to go to the fort with 2 - 3 members and just keep killing. everything there is a placeholder. so i have had 3 spawned at once (Ouch). be patient you can get in about 100 kills of him. (that is the part u need patience for) GL and fun hunting for yas all

I have tested this earring, it didn't proc on my level 9 ranger, maybe the proc is level 10-15 or somewhere in there?

This earring does nto "PROC" at any lvl!!! to use it you have to rigth click on it. This should work at any lvl

I found the earring does not activate when you right click until you are at least level 15.

Ha this thing is worth way more than 4k. If you get for that price, consider yourself lucky. Its rare as hell and high level players are willing to pay tons for it.

I got my earing last night,finally no more damn gloves to destoy,btw what lvl would my rogue need it to proc sincei used my necro to clear the camp?

It procs when you stick your ear up a mobs ***** or so ive heard ) you can right click it and ACTIVATE it (no chance of fail no dex test, it just happens) this works when you are 15th

It's not a random effect - random being an effect that goes off when you hit something (in the case of proc'ing weapons) or when you get hit (in the case of a damage shield).

Its a triggered effect. Meaning it goes off when you trigger it (right-click on it).

And unlimited use of Grim Aura by any class is a wicked effect at that. =)

I believe, after performing a short study, that Grachnist spawns every 45 mins in the goblin fort after clearing it of the majority of the mobs inside. About every 30mins after clearing a pit fighter spawns. I think of this as a pre-fight bell as 15 mins later Grachnist the Destroyer has always spawned. These times that i give are not exact and i will do further study to confirm or deny what i have found so far. On another note, I GOT THE EARRING! it is ac3 effect grim aura a lvl 8 necro spell that boosts your attack rating. Again i will go back and check this carefully. Good luck hunting Grach someone let me know if they get the Earring of Grachnist!

I don't think that Grachnist is on any special timer. I killed those 5 (or 7) goblins at the bridge entrance (before you cross the bridge), and next spawn was Grachnist in the place of the goblin just outside the walls. I killed him, and after a minute or so, he spawned again as one of the two goblins that are nearest the bridge.

Grachnist drops 99% of the time the "iksar scaled gloves". Every time but once I have killed him, he has the iksar scaled gloves. I have never seen any earring. I have gotten a totem of the warrior spirit once.
(I've killed him around 15 times)
Oh, sometimes he drops his head too. That is, I believe, what he should always drop instead of the gloves, since he always has one. :)

There is not a timer on his spawn, it is completely random. I have even seen 3 Grachnists up at one time, all in the same area. (that was not pretty, almost instant death even at level 45)

The earrings and totem are VERY rare. I probably killed him 100 times before anything other than gloves dropped. Don't go there expecting to get one in the first day you are camping them. Most high level players will find their time is worth more than the items they will gain.

Hard to believe that people are paying 4k plus for these things. I camped him for a week to get my faction up and got 4 of them (gave one away to a guildmate). I only found one totem in all that time. As for the gloves I ended up selling them for 30pp when I could, they are lore items and I could only carry one at a time, tons were left behind to vanish.

Grachnist, may have dropped from Warlord on first day or something when loot was messed up.

Very rare drop on grachnist the destroyer.
