You all are gonna hate me, but I was walking through WW, saw this guy, no clue who he was, tried twice before I killed him. Only tried again for principle. The little bugger deserved it, he killed my pet! Got the gloves and the earring. That was cool. Had no idea the earring could be worth so much. Does this sell easily for the 4K price listed above??

The reason we high level people want this ring is because it's an insta-caste item that works indoors.

Grim Aura is low level (sub 20) necro crap buff.

When going up against Doze or the keeper, and other indoor high level mobs, that debuff, this item is especially usefull. Every time they debuff top spell, you insta-caste Grim Aura. Hence, you never loose your good buffs during the fight.

This can also be done with Jboots, but becasue they only work outdoors, the gobby earring is prefered.

Ive owned this earing for about a month now. I love it. You can NOT seperate me from it! Only problem I have with it is I have 2 warnings on my account from it :( Damn flamers in EC petitioned me for clicking it constantly. :( Anyway, I always have the effect as my first buff, not for the 13atk, but for dispells. Pain in the *** lossing skin like nature or what not.

I got the earring tonight on Drinal server. It is still in game.

I killed Grachnist about 30 times now, and no earring.. He drops a skull now, but now earring. Has this item been removed from game?

I'm a level 39 Iksar Monk with the Crescent armor from Dalnir, Executioner's Hood, good crafted monk jewelry, maxed in FD, bare hands, 1HB, and 2HB, and carry 2 Cane of Tranquils. Provided I can get Grachnist the Destroyer out in the open and away from helers and buffers while fighting him, I still come down to almost dying before he is "destroyed". I've even tried debuffing him with a Pumice Stone. He has like 2000 hit points and I wind up at least being down to half a bubble before he keels over. At one point, I only had 10 HP left before he started running. It takes a lot of damage and it definitely takes a lot of time if you are going to try to solo him as a 39 monk. Be forewarned. I spent 6 hours and killed off nearly everything in the camp and killed off about 8-10 Grachnists. All I found was either Iksar Gloves or his skull.

I'll definitely be trying again though.

they do drop off the destroyer, hes is a totly random spawn off any goblins in the whole zone, but the best place to look for him is at the bridge camp.i would say he drops the earing about one in 50 or so, takes about 5- 10 hours unless your lucky, the clickable proc is +13 atk, and after ya cast it ya put your other better earing back , cause the spell last like 30 min. now +13 atk is like + 26 str , and this thing taks up no slot at all after ya cast it so, can ya say UBER item. this is also good for dragon raids, cuase its insta cast, can ya can move while ya cast it. so as the dragon drispells ya cast it again so all the dragon is disspelling is youe grim aura. i have never died on a dragon raid sience i got this earing. now i have made a living camping this item, i have sold about 20 or so of them for 10k no less. the thing is ya have to explain to each buyer why this earing rocks so much. most times i sell it for 10k in about 30 min in freeport. most high levels would rather pay for it then spend the time capming it themselfs. and are willing to trade most anything for one. one last thing , the other goblins are way fast sow ya need SOW , snare or some spell to kill them

Any Rangers (or high level Monks) with this know if Grim Aura stacks with Firefist? And which is more attack bonus??

Right click instant cast items are useful for every class. It's a way to counter ae dispels that only take one buff away.

after this last patch the effect on the earring is no longer +7 to attack it is now +13 :) i am on sol ro and am willing to sell or trade this great earring
