You're thinking of Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring, ac3 effect: Grim Aura. Farmed a Gobbieskull for a monk friend yersterday, gave a 54th necro +13atk.

I have gotten one off a Kly Evoker in Dalnir. Very rare there as well. Rumored that, in Dalnir, these will only drop off the wizard type kly casters(evokers and invokers).

Whoever said they only come off of enthusiasts and partisans are wrong, they also come off of Sarnak Zealots in burning woods. and have seen them off other mobs, they are very rare and seem to be off any sarnak(random)
I think he means it drops off those two only, in OT *shrugs*

I got mine off of a Sarnak Recruit last night.. from what Ive seen and heard so far it has to be random on Sarnaks. This was in Lake of Ill Omen.. its too bad its a no drop though.. Ive seen people asking to loot one off a kill for a 1kpp. Oh well... happy hunting to all of you.

Hehe, I must be lucky, I got two of these earrings in two days in BW. I couldn't believe it when I saw the first one, and then when the second one dropped...complete shock. Luckily I won both of the rolls as well! :)

They are NO DROP, but not LORE. Therefore you can have more than one.

These drop off of all sarnaks in every zone there is a sarnak. The drop rate is ungodly rare tho...
I spent hours upon hours in chardok master looting. I have never seen one drop. My friends have tho. Just have to keep on killing those sarnaks. Hey by the time i get one i could probably walk into cabillis =)

I goy one last night while soloing in Buring Woods. I looted it before I noticed it was no-drop.

I have been killing sarnak with 4 different characters from 20 to 50 and I finally had one drop for me while camping DiZok. Of course it was my shaman and not my monk bard or warrior. It came off a lowly adherent. Fortunately I found a monk in the fort and he was able to loot it.

Im not sure if it was just a fluke...but i got one of these inside the sarnak fortress by the FM zone in Lake of Ill Omen. It dropped of a Sarnak Revenant (spelling?). Dunno but i got one there at lvl 23.

I found one also on a Sarnak Revenant. Deep inside the fort where most of the Sarnaks spawn at. Approximate time was 4PM CST. This seems to be the most frequent dropping place.

I got one in Lake/Omen off a Sarnak Adherant.
