Ruins of Kunark
I can't believe it, but I was able to get two of them to drop from Sarnak Enthusiasts at the Sarnak ruins in the SE corner of OT. The 2 earrings dropped within 1 hour, unbelievable. Now I wear one on each ear =)

I was in a group last night and one of these dropped while we where at the plat in Loio. I had no idea that it dropped or even what in the heck that it was. So the monk that was pulling for us told all of us to roll on it so we did and needless to say I lost but the leader of the group told us to wait and proceded to tell us that we could see it for an easy 2kpp. All of us agreed that we would sell the looting rights for 2k so it made everyone happy to have about 333pp in thier pocket rather then nothing. I believe that the average price for looting this thing is about 2-3kpp. So if you have one and dont need it then by all means sell it to someone. We had at least 4 offers in about 10 seconds when we broadcasted that we wanted to sell it. Thats just my 2 cents though

It took me 43 hours of hunting on the lower level of Dalnir to get my pair. Based upon what I have heard from others, and my own personal experience, it is my belief that they almost exclusively drop from Kly Evokers (Both of mine dropped from evokers, as well as my friend's rogue's one).
Feel kind of silly camping them for 43 hours now that there are so many good earrings in the new expansions, but yah can't beat the weight for a monk =)

Got one off a Kly cohort in Dalnir. It dropped in the room right before the Overseer room on the 3rd floor. This was after going from level 30 to 41 here, so I figure thats about 1500-2000 kly killed before one dropped. I'm happy with it though :P

I've killed thousands of sarnaks in every zone listed here on 2 different servers and I've never seen one drop. I was thinking they took it out of the game until I read the posts here. This is one of the rarest drops in the game and if you get one consider yourself lucky.

They aren't THE rarest items in game, but admit, they are very rare. I have 2, and there are lots of others that have them too. I've gotten mine in Chardok, and seen 3 more drop so far in here. I started hunting there at 51, and am now 55, getting close to 56. I'm quite sure they can drop off any sarnak in here, not just the casters. I think the first I saw drop was off a recruit.

I have seen a ranger in Kelethin wearing 2 earrings 8)
I got mine in LOIO and while spending 7 levels in the fort alone. I only saw this drop once. I was lucky enough to get it that day. This came off of a Sarnak Revealer. I only help in about 5 deaths of this guy the whole visit to the fort and I was real lucky that day.

I hunted in Dalnir for most of my 30's (actually moved down and started camping lumpy solo around 35 or 36 or so and killed kly's there). Never saw one drop, until one day when i was about lvl 47 or so and was helping a younger monk friend get Crescent gear one dropped. I also hunted Sarnak Fort in LOIO about 20-30 and never saw one drop. Never really hunted Sarnak fort in OT so no idea on the drop rate there. May go there soon and check it out and hopefully get a second one. Really nice earring though for any melee.
i got one off a recruit in loio, but i was alone so i got to keep it hehe. i'll try for another one but i've camped loio for weeks at the fort and only have seen one. o well.

Best room to get this earrings is in Chancelors room. I fighted there for 3 nights. Im a lvl51 war and solo the whole room, sure without chanclor self. I got 2 in 3 nights its hard work to become that but im lucky now...

Ok the best spot for these earrings is in OT at the sarnark tower. While leveling in ot i got my complete set there. In addition, the other war in the group got his set. All you do is break the camp inside the tower and camp inside. Knock them down one by one. We scored them at a rate of one every two hours which is sweet for a drop.
What tower are you referring to? I see plenty of Sarnak Ruins on the EQAtlas map, but no Sarnak Tower.
In OT, near the WW zone, there is a tower along the path. I think there are 3-4 static spawns in there. That is a prime ground for the Iksar quest mob who drop a head(?) for dread scale armor. Another place, although harder to break, is the ruins near the NE pond. There are at least 6 spawns there. I hunt that spot for the zerker braids if i have to hunt (guild raids only) in Kaesora or HS.
I think he's talking about the 'tower' near the back door, by the FM zone.

I know what ya mean the other day one dropped, the stupid druid looted it just after i won the roll on it. I got aggroed by room pop just after i won and during the fight the druid looted it. =(

Saw one drop off of a Sarnak Adherent while we were camping the right ledge in the fort. We rolled, I lost. Very nice, I'm glad I at least got to see one. I hear they are very rare and all, but I only did the forts for 2 and a half levels and saw one, so they must not be SUPER rare.
About 2 weeks after this episode, I took my 24th level SK over to the sarnak fort in LOIL about 3 days ago, and last night, while pulling for a group, a Sarnak Adherent had the Earring on him. I got excited immediately because there was only one other melee type in our group. However, when I announced the find to my group, everyone wanted to roll. Of course, I rolled a 17. The cleric in our group won the roll with a 74 or so. I gave her a tell immediately, and asked if I could buy the looting rights from her. She said, "How much is it worth to you?" I said 100pp. I'm curious, does anyone think that was a good deal? I don't really care that much, because I really wanted this earring. I bought my SK there just because I was hoping to get it, so it's worth 100pp to me. Anyways, she said sure, and I looted. Lol, the rest of the group didn't know about this exchange, and there was quite an upcry when they saw that I had looted it! The cleric and I quickly updated them on what we had done and they calmed down. But it was kinda funny!! There were comments like, "I can't believe you just did that!" and "wtf" and stuff like that. Anyways, I gave the cleric 40 on the spot and promised the other 60 tonight, which I will gladly pay. Anyways, I'm very excited to own this earring.

I got one of these in a drop from a sarnak Extremist in Frontier mountains. We were fighting at the giant fort and I decided to pull the Sarnak. Lo and behold the earring dropped from an Extremist... good luck
Saw the second one of these drop off a Sarnak Extremist in Burning Woods in the last 3 weeks. It was my regular group, and the same SK has gotten each one, simply because the rest of us didn't want it. We were all pure casters, except for him and a cleric and we didn't even roll, just let him loot. Now I have my 49 warrior parked in that same spot, and if another one drops, I"m gonna see about changing guys and looting it.
I mainly posted this because I didn't see any other info about them dropping in Burning Woods, except in the main post, where it simply listen Burning Woods as one of the zones. Good luck.

I was in a group where a Warrior looted one of these off of a Sarnak Adherent in Lake of Ill Omen... He didn't bother to do a roll, and, needless to say, I was a might bit irked. ;)

Has anyone ever looted these of Sarnak bezerkers or Knights in OT? What are sarnak casters called anyway?
Just looted one off a sarnak enthusiast in OT, and I'm quite happy :)
