Well, think about it. There isn't a reason for a level 32 monk to fight in Blackburrow. But there is a reason for an IKSAR monk to fight in Blackburrow: to raise Qeynos faction. Killing the gnolls and razorgills in BB raises Guards of Qeynos, Merchants of Qeynos, Jaggedpine Treefolk (Surefall Glade druid guild), and Silent Fist Clan (Qeynos monk guild). One of the ways to get the epic requires good faction with the Freeport and Qeynos monk guilds. Also, I like travelling, and this is the only convenient bind point, shopping and banking area, in Western Antonica. It's a good bind point for hunting in the Karanas, Everfrost, or Permafrost. I can be bound outside the gates now, but it would be nice to have shopping and banking priveleges, as the closest place to this area I can do that now is Rivervale. As an iksar, with the worst faction issues of any race, I often have to kill tons of green mobs or do repetetive simple quests to make myself non-KOS in cities. So far I've achieved this in Freeport and Rivervale, and now I'm working on Qeynos.
