It's used in the rogue epic 1.5 now.

At one point in the new rogue epic you must craft an entire suite of a specific armor. This is among the things needed to make them.

Just looted one of these, it now says "This item can be used in tradeskills." Anyone know what the recipe is?

Sony nerfed this from 18/5 to 22/5. Annoying, but not as bad as the zraxthril forged flamberge which they totally ruined. Oh well....

I bought two of these in the PoK with my Chanter while I was looking for random upgrades to my armor. With the new shared bank slot, gave one of these to my 3 dwarf rogue. Good weapon. Even if I do miss a lot, it s fast enough that it won't get me often Smiley: disappointed I noticed that rogues can learn dual wield. I will use my second one to raise that skill quick, even if I find a more powerful main weapon.

P.S. I would have been a Vah Shir rogue...But I couldn't find my way out of the guild hall Smiley: bah

P.P.S. This is the ONLY twinking I have done to this character. I ususally don't believe in it, but I couldn't resist. Smiley: wink

My 4 rogue's got one of these. I did the bardic mail thing until I had 2p, and I bought this from an ogre selling a buttload of these for 2p per. I love the littls thing. It's insanely fast. I can't wait till I can fight orc oracles on orc hill. They won't get a single spell out!

These drop off 95% of the initiates...I got 20 of them soloing at the castle for a couple hours.
They sell to vendors for 7 silver :P

Also, vendors only ask 7 gold for them which is surprisingly affordable, unlike most weapons. Maybe next time I'll seed the vendors around the newbie areas, after passing them out.

But, these days, even most newbs would pass them by. :)

Edit: Common in the Gulf of Gunthak. Didn't want anyone searching in vain for a castle in Dulak's :)

I've seen more shivs since LOY than I did in prison!

Joke ;)

There are a LOT of shivs though. I've been killing Broken skull Innitiates in gunthak and they drop shivs constantly.

These drop off of almost every regular mob in Guntak, Dulak's Harbor, and Nadox. Very common, good pet weapon. I often destroy them after my pet is dual wielding them, in order to free up a spot for the 80p gems that drop randomly in those zones. :)
