New LVL Recommendation
# Aug 14 2004 at 9:08 AM Rating: Decent
This is now recommended for lvl 50, still a nice item to have though, even if you aren't 50 yet.
do they see invis

If you zone from Gunthank, and run to this camp. Do the mobs see through invis?

Most do not see invisible. I found a couple that did the hard way on either side of a gate on the way to Hate's Fury. From the place that they popped my invis, I was able to make it to the Hate's Fury zone barely alive as a 62 cleric with runspeed 3.

Everytime I've killed him I've received either a ring and necklace or just a necklace.
This guy pops in a lot of places...

Read about this necklace and weapon drop, made a pally twink earlier, and thought, hey, kewl...some free drops. I often hunt the undead in Nadox to make cash...but never went down the stairs. So I read where ppl saw him and went to the docks...to my surprise, he popped right out of the stairs to the left, and dropped the necklace! So, seems he can pop anywhere down the stairs. Soloed him BTW, 65 Nec..easy down in Nadox undead fer a Nec.

P.S. There is a recommended lvl on this, not sure if it was 45, 99% sure it was tho, so I sold it fer 8k...I know where this guy lives, I will get it again! Smiley: grin

recommended level of 50 now
no adds

Did him with a 56 shammy friend, me being a 65 wiz. I rooted mob next to him and zoned into Hates while friend stayed outside, he then rooted this guy and slowed him while other mobs went back to position. I came out and he dotted while I nuke rooted a few times. He dropped the necklace btw.
Fisherman

Killed him the other day. Dropped either a coral ring or a caster mana sieve procing hammer. No necklace =( He did not seem very hard.
Question
# Apr 29 2003 at 5:33 AM Rating: Decent
First of all, does he summon? Also, think a 58 druid and 58 pally could kill him?
RE: Question
# Jul 07 2003 at 8:52 AM Rating: Decent
Niether he or his PHs summon, the only problem I see duoing him would be avoiding adds. Harmony won't work since it's indoors, but the pally's pacify spell would probably be a big help.
Spawn Time
# Mar 13 2003 at 11:37 AM Rating: Decent
I cleared the first five spawns out from Hates Fury, and saw him pop about every two hours last week. He seemed to spawn in any of the locations. I spent the day there after the patch yesterday and he didn't pop at all (also no Coral Rings), so either they nerfed it or my luck has returned to normal.

Way to docks:
Cross the bridge (left side if swimming in lava way)
Strait across next room (mobs dont see invis)

at this point IVU b/c the mobs are now undead.

You cant miss the way to docks, it's right next to Hell's Fury otw. We killed there a while but didnt see a fisherman pop. I chose this to upgrade neck, but given the pain of getting to it, will probably search elsewhere.
