Nabbed one of these for my monk. The recommended level is nothing and the ratio is phenominal for the price I got it at. I consider it pretty shocking to see one of these for more than 100pp on Stromm. I got mine for 40pp.
Beats the crap out of my Wu's Quivering Staff, and almost equals the Peacebringer, which is by no means a weak weapon at level 50. Plus the graphic is intimidating. ^_^

I can purchase items on povar for less than 50 plat that NEVER go below 200 on stromm (polished quartz jewelry for my casters amongst other items). Kinda sad really.....
I was doing the cleric temperance quest today on the beach and this dropped off of an emaciated zombie. It was the only time it dropped but I thought it notable.

my paladin went 2 lvls on the beach solo (45 & 46) for the most part. So you can imagine how many skellies and zombie trolls i killed. And in that time this dropped ONCE. And it was from a green skellie as you come up on beach on left hand side. Thought it looked weird...snatched it up

These things are DIRT CHEAP, at least on Nameless, and the ratio is SUPERB. I don't see why more people are raving about this weapon. Not only that but the recommended level isnt something out of this world like level 65. Great for your bucks. the only thing I don't like about it is the ghraphics...kinda blunt....pardon the pun

I can't believe anyone would call this a common drop. I've levelled FOUR characters from about 38ish to 45 or 46 on the Gulf of Gunthak, and in that time I have seen one of these drop. The knives they drop are even semi-rare and I've seen probably 40 or 50 of them.
Just a warning for all you martial artists... don't go to gunthak expecting to get one of these quick. I could've gotten a tinker's bag full of jboots in the time it took me to get one of these.

Spent the whole day in the gulf working on the Temp quest for a cleric friend. My group pulled the whole area at the beach and kept it down including the spawns in the water. After 9 hours of fun, 1 of these dropped.

Rare? I've had a 100% drop rate with this thing. Of course the cast out survivor I found it on at the end of the pier by the lizard pen was the one and only thing I killed while I was there today.
Rarity is usually pretty subjective. As a young cleric I couldn't seem to be sitting outside unrest without Bilgewater Farfathom? being dragged up there. In the over three years since I've sat there with that cleric and a druid tracking looking for that guy, and never once have seen him.

I bought this weapon for my monk to replace my Bamboo Bo Stick (8/20 2hb). I used the Bo solely for raising my 2hb skill. I saw this in the bazaar for 400, I think, and seeing the ratio, snatched it up. So far, I haven't been disappointed.
The graphic is just awesome. Plain and simple. It's a ragged, worn plank with nails driven into it. Very classy

I don't know how common these are, but I saw two in the Bazaar the day I bought this for my beastlord - one was 350pp and one was 450pp (you can guess which one I selected). The wisdom is nice, but the ratio is what impressed me, given its relatively low price. When beastlords get the riposte skill at level 40, this big damage weapon will help even more. The look is pretty wild, looking like a board with nails poking out of it like something you saw at the dump as a kid; the strange appearance gets alot of questions, so it's fun. All in all, I have no regrets about buying it.

Yah this goes for 300-500pp on BB. But luckly i found one for 75pp! its pretty damn good for 75pp now i just need to get my 2hb skill to par lol its at 30 now!
This is a pretty common drop and as a result, the price has fallen rapidly. Its a great 2hb and now can be gotten for 500pp or less on my server (Tholuxe Paells). When it first came out, it was selling for over 2K. Glad I didn't buy it at that price!

I bought this in the Bazaar for 850pp on the Tribunal Server. Started using it at level 20 because of the ratio to help increase 2hb skill. Was regularly getting hits for 30-50 until level 27 (I'm now 32)... then watch out! I am hitting consistantly for 60-80 with my highest at 106

i got one of these off of a zombie also
while questing a ranger spell on the beach on the MM server. bazaar prices are around 500pp here and i have'nt been able to sell it for that price. hard to believe with the delay and dmg it has.
I saw this drop off of a Maniacal Zombie today. I couldn't tell the Zombie was holding anything. This particular zombie was on the beach in Gunthak, right next to the water.
I spent about a week last month on the beach trying to get this and never saw it drop on any of the skellies i killed must be the rarer of the drops on the beach - got all kinds of finger bones collecting dust in my bank vault but not the weapon that i wanted guess i will have to try again sometime really need a decent 2hander to raise skill with.

It is pretty rare. I spent several levels on Gunthak Beach and never saw one until a monk asked about it. One dropped off the next skellie I killed - weird coincidence! Gave the monk a tell and he sure was a happy one.

This weapon now as a recommended lvl of 27. Not very hard to reach but still cant be used at lvl 1 =(.
I wouldnt use til 28 anyhow for the damage bonus. 1 handers would outdamage it til then.
Must have killed 50 deadly or vicious skellies as well as trolls in the vicinity getting the Male Erudite Spirit to spawn (was killing anything that moved and I could target). Didn't get it to drop, so not too sure about a "common drop"

I was in Gunthak today for the first time with my Rogue. I pulled a vicious skelleton and unfortunately got a second add. Never saw him till he was on me. After the fight, I looted and was happily suprised to get this item.
It is now on my 32 beastlord. I went to the bazaar to get an ideal of what these cost. On the Povar Server, there were 2 patchwork jetsams for sale. 1 was going for 1k and the other was going for 2.3k
It looks like a weathered board with nails driven through the end of it.
I was in Gunthak with a 51 shaman who was slowing mobs and hasting me. Skellies, once slow do seem to go down pretty quick. Killed probably 35 skellies of various types and saw this patchwork jetsam only once.

I leveled in Gulf of Gunthak from 32 to 42, killing zombies (camping Mokon), skeletons...I _never_ saw this. I guess I killed about 300 skeletons during that time, and no luck. Same thing with the decent 1hs weapon that drops there, during that time I saw 2 of them...rare as well.
I guess they had the spawn tables messed up during the first few days, then changed everything to rare? :/.

this was given to me as a gift and the guy who gave it to me had no idea what the price would be. I was pleasantly suprised when i looked it up today, double hits for about 54 max on a 24 Iksar Monk.

I dont know if I agree with the common rating on this. I have hunting Gunthak, Thoulux Paells, for several days straight now and killed many skellies. Tonight was the first one I have seen, much less looted.
As for it looking like a piece of wood with nails sticking out of it, it should. Jetsam is debris so its fitting that the pic looks like junk, lol.

I'm not sure if this guy just didn't look at the stats on this weapon or was just feeling kind but he had this for sale in Bazaar for 75pp today! I snatched that thing so quick. Now my monk can finally work on her 2HB with style :)

Just in case anyone's curious, this thing looks like a piece of timber with half a dozen 6 inch spikes nailed through the end. It's got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
I used to dream about getting a velium brawl stick, but I picked this baby up for 300p (odd, cause all the others were selling for 1-3k) in eBaz, and I'm not looking back. :)

I don't know what the going price is for this yet. I looted one from the first mob I killed in this zone luckily. It was a deadly skeletal sailor and was green to 54. I ooc'd many times for 3 days for a PC but never got one. Finally I got a tell asking me if I was selling. I said yes if the price is right. First offer I got was 2.5k and took it. Don't know if I got screwed or lucky or if that may just be the going rate for a monk/bst 2hb like that. I just know that I was very happy to get 2.5k from an item I got off a green con & easy kill.
