I've noticed some of the other LoY features acted funny until zoning. For example, if you pull up the Dye window, it shows the tints you have applied to your body and the tints that are part of any armor parts you have on (like bright yellow on GEBs). BUT, if you change your armor around and pull up the window again, it doesn't update the item tints-- until you zone with that armor on. Then you can pull up the Dye window and the changed Item tints will show in the Dye display.
I also noticed that when I logged in last night, my Guild Management window showed NO members, and I didn't have access to ANY of the functions. Pretty frightening thing for a guild leader to run into, huh? Fortunately, the first time I zoned after that, the list was repopulated with all the members and I had my controls back again.
Based on these experiences, I'm wondering if the stats on Charms only update based on the conditions at the time you zone. Example: A Charm that gets stronger as you get more money might have no stats showing if you enter the zone empty of cash, and won't show no matter how many PP you get while there. Then you zone to go bank and suddenly *WHAM!* Your Charm is giving you +20 STR/STA/CHA or something....

I`m guessing this would good for a soloist, hunting in an out of the way zone where now one else goes ??
If someone tells me LEAVE THE ZONE I NEED MY CHARM TO WORK ill laugh and spit in his face.

Im looking for a charm, anyone know what drops this? I've killed like 200+ random mobs nada... anyone know what this comes off of?

Maybe it makes you feel less alone by doing "Train to Zone" and "LFG" /OOC's... That thing must have negative effects in Bazaar LOL

it gets powerful with fewer people in zone, but what is the effect? it talks to you to keep you company? it sings a little ditty? an automatic reminder to have human contact once in a while? what?
