Guys nobody cares who you think the item should be won by. How about telling us something useful like, what does it look like when worn? Any special graphic of any kind?

the steel wrapped stuff has a light blue-green color to it.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 05 2003 at 11:21 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I agree Only good for a pally or Cleric...Stats on it arent worth it unless givin for free..The only thing seperates SK's from Other Sk's in the high end (which im not sayin i am) is who has more INT / HP / and SV's
RE: Sk No No

A friend of mine is a level 59 SK. His WIS is actually HIGHER than his INT because of his gear. It doesn't matter much to him (INT 267) but I'm sure it's a pain for some people who are still trying to level out their gear though.

Save up! PP are king in the mid level game. The really decent stuff at high levels are NO DROP!

Yes, there are some decent dropable items, but mostly the NO DROP has better stats.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but arn't stats capped at 255 till 60+ if so your SK friend dosn't have 267 int unledd that is what it would be uncapped, but those extra 12 points would be useless

now i could be completely wrong here and if i am please correct me but i thought hte AA stats didnt count towards your cap so if u had 12 points of AA INT u could go over your cap before 60. but again i could be wrong since none of my stats are maxed out yet i dont know for sure.

That made absolutely no sense. If SKs are exmpot because this BP lacked HP and resists, why would it benegit the Paladin? They are both equal tanks.

He's refering to the wisdom on it. Kinda like the armor from Umbral Plains that an SK can use has fairly nice stats, but it has wisdom and no intelligence. Kinda like a lot of the high end cultural now. I remember when I used to look at that stuff and think it was just godly, but now I look at it and think it's decent. Nice AC, and it's got hitpoints and mana, but the stats just suck. If you buy something like this, you're paying for the wisdom that the clerics and paladins want, but you really gain nothing for it. Because of that, it's usually better to get something that is more tailored to an SK, although with luclin era gear being what is most common, it is becoming difficult to find nice gear with intelligence for an SK when compared to wisdom gear for a paladin. :|
I like!

Uhm, SK's are melee.

I would personally wear this, AC, DEX, HPS,MANA, +saves. In my eys not a bad piece of material to put between myself and an incoming blow.

Anyone have any Mob info?

Why
# Feb 26 2003 at 12:50 PM Rating: Default
Why is every new piece of armor i have seen that is Shadowknight usable has Wis on it? Did VI have a brain fart and forget that Shadowknights are INT casters?? Yeah a cleric is a wis caster ok fine... lose the raw mana and add INT and maybe you'll find an SK wearing this.
RE: Why
# Jul 10 2003 at 2:00 PM Rating: Decent
Just my opinion, but I would choose raw mana over INT any day. If you are high enough lvl to get this weapon on your own your INT should be pretty maxed out anyway.

There seems to be a lot of new armor that has equipable classes chosen by armor type rather than item stats. Check out the equipment list from Hate's Fury; there's a lot of +wis items equipable by a monk, but not by cleric or shaman. :\

It's called Plate classes, rather then exclude SK's they kept it a peice of PLATE with a wisdom stat
RE: Why
# Mar 19 2003 at 10:06 PM Rating: Default
Actually I believe his point was why does so much plate armor have Wis and not Int on it? I agree. There aren't many BPs with Int on them that are SK only.

I totally agree. My sk is currently wearing three pieces of moktor armor (bp, bracer, helm) because of it's AC and my wis is almost equal to my int. (troll sk heh)
