yes, a bit risky, but i did it at lvl 62 with about 150 aa's though... was crawling through ship, saw him and it was a close fight. I'd say it was about as tough as soloing two normal mobs at once, soloing. maybe not quite that tough, but close. Dropped the charm, which is great and still use today.
I bought one today thinking that it would proc even at lvl 7, but it didn't. I know it has a recomended lvl of 50. Anyone have info as to if it only procs at 50 or is there a pre 50 lvl when it procs?
required level of 50 to proc now.... not sure if it has always been that way, but seems like a few weapon's proc level has been increased lately... Hope this helps...
don't go in thinking this will be a quick camp. i've been duo'ing this camp 4 hours a night for 5 nights now and still no sword. one night i didn't even get a named but so far 4 necklaces and no charm. one clearing of this room takes about 35 minutes with about 5 minutes to med back up & rebuff for round 2.
as for groups to use, well it's me (65 ranger) and 65 shaman duo'ing easily. however, if your group consists of any lvl under 60 i suggest 3 or more for the group with 1 being a good dps. they don't hit hard but hit fast so a slower is required. will need a type of crowd control because on initial break you will have 2 double pulls (unless pacified).
altogether, not a bad camp if you're going for the necklace but if you're wanting that sword, bring lots of food & drinks and get a ****-pot cuz you're going to be dug in there for a mighty long time.
Ok i finally found him campped him for 10 hours still no PoS sword... its sad i know =\ Lol... For those out there that dont know where he spawns ok right as u enter the zone there is a ladder to ur left go down it, then go straight across the hall into the next room there will be 7 mobs in there the one he spawns from is the one standign behind the stump with the axe in it its very EZ camp long and borign though but while ur campign ti u can run down the hall and camp the FoD at the same time dince there are no people that ever coem to this zoen any more all camps are open GL hope it helps...
well iv campped liek every room in HF and i still cant seem to find this named mayeb sumoen can xsplain xactly where it is i read on one of the post its down the stairs do u mean the ladder?

Actually, you can't give this to a pet. Pet weapons must be useable by whatever class the pet is, and this one is ranger only. At least every time I've tried to give a pet something that isn't warrior useable it ate it. :|
not true at all...the mage pets will equip almost all weapons. I have a 61 mage and my 61 mage pet is a monk pet. he still will wield 1hs weapons and piercing weapons.
I don't have a pet and have never played a character that does, but I thought that the weapon gets destroyed when pet poofs. If that's true, why would anyone give the pet an uber weapon.
because they don't need the money from selling it, and would rather get the minor xp boost -- I guess. With the new aa's which allows a pet user to suspend their minion, log off and get the pet back, it would be more worth it, though.
Actually in a place like Ssra where damage mitigation is really high I can see something like this being pretty valuable. Max dex and Ingenuity and you could crit for close to 1000.
Damage bonus is added to every successful hit from your primary hand weapon. Off-hand weapons do not get damage bonuses. So if you were to normally hit for 20, a damage bonus of 7 would net you 27 damage instead.
Two-Handed weapons generally have better damage bonuses because they take into account the delay of the weapon along with other variables. One-handers have lower damage bonuses since they only take into consideration your level.
