With the new added effect, did the price change at all? Or is the effect valued enough fer it to go up?
I say go for the cougar claw earring (4ac 3str 2dex).. Sorta rare but the cougars are awesome xp up until like level 37 grouped and 39 solo.. In iceclad, if you didn't know.. If you don't want to kill the kitties, just fork over 200pp each for em..

It is 0.3 now but it USED TO BE 1.0; the weight was subsequently reduced -- take a look at the picture of the Orc Fang Earring on this very site. So, the original poster is also right...

orc fang is one hp better. Look for the value of this piece to drop dramatically. The orc fang earring is far more common and easy to obtain than this.
One other correction. The Orc Fang Earring is 3hp and 1ac better.

Agreed. The only advantage of the Diamondine compared to the Orc Fang is that Orc Fang weighs 1.0 and Diamondine 0.1. This makes a big different to monks.
you seem to be forgetting the small value of the effect for casters
