I killed poachers in JP and guild farmed 2 other locs for 4 hours... didnt drop. This is not a common drop.

I don't know if this has ever been mentioned, and it took me over 4 years to figure it out. I could never tell the difference between the left and right halves of research pages. It's not like I looked at pages every day and studied how they looked.
Anyway, I determined that a left half of a page is STRAIGHT on the left side and jagged on the right, likewise the right half is STRAIGHT on the right side and jagged on the left.
I hope this little tidbit of info is helpful to anyone who hasn't figured it out, and hopeful that it didn't take you as long as it took me.
