I think 90k is very overpriced for this. I only gave 10k for the Fierce Heraldic Greaves for my warrior and they got 40 ac and some stats. Only thing I can see better about these compared to other smithed armor is the fact agnostics can wear it.
I was starting to wonder if these actually existed on my server (CT). That is until today when they were up for sale. At just under 90K I thought the price was a bit steep though.
Have you seen the iksar cultural? its a friggin joke. i mean the ogre has the ac / stats close to that of kael quest armor (drops in north tov and turn in in kael... aka Warlords) which is what my iksar is wearing some of.... the iksar cultural on the other hand is CRAP its stats are a joke and barely compairable to the PoH drops we get. And just for those who say "not wearing plate armor is a requirement of your race" and "you get a bonus to AC" scew you.... A bonus to ac is a BONUS its not supposed to be a reason for SoE to give us lower ac gear just because we get a "bonus" Besides we have been around longer than any other race on any of Norrath... dont you think we could have come up with some chain designs to rival that of any plate you softskins could make?

Just cause you cant afford anything good and your guild sucks to bad to get velious plate quests doesnt mean you have to come here and flame about it. If you dont like iksar do us all a favor and quit thx...If you didnt notice that is Race: All which is a lot more then your stupid scaley body should deserve
The response below is a case of oversimplification being incorrect. These items are smithed, using drops from Cazic Thule. Other such items are the Tae Ew Shield, the Tae Ew Longsword (and other weapons), and the Tae Ew Chain armors.
This is one of the better smithed pieces available. The breastplate and other pieces appear to be sub-par.

Well, considering they are better than even the best Cultural Leggings, and wearable by everyone, I would guess to price them a bit above those. On my server, cultural legs go for maybe 20k, so I would magine these going for 30k+ since components are hard to gather and Cazic Thule is deserted nowadays.
I think your dreaming getting a pair of these for 30k.
If I had smithed them it would take a lot more than 30k to get them off me. Most smiths who can make these will have a lot of plat (so 30k wont seem very tempting for an item that is a ***** to get components for), or smith to give to their guild.
You happen to forget that most peeps don't even follow Rallos, or perhaps that many plate wearers aren't Bards or Warriors. For those of us who are otherwise, these would suit us MUCH better than the crappy cultural armor that's available out there.
Well a little late to reply, but I'll go ahead anyway. First, I didn't "forget" any of the things you mentioned. In fact, I clearly noted that the heraldic is deity restricted. I was just countering the argument that this was "better than ANY of the cultural armors"
Also, please note that the Helanic Tundra armor is almost identical to the fierce heraldic, meaning there are TWO cultural armors that could be argued to be better.
However, if you don't worship the tribunal, or rallos zek, These may be the best stuff for you. Hideously rare components, and so the last pair I saw for sale on Rodcet Nife was 85k.
Anyhow, my main point in the original post was, while these are damned nice, the are NOT clearly better than ALL the blue diamond Culturals, which is what the previous poster had contended.
The heraldic armor he linked may be for Rallos only, but there is a different suit of heraldic armor for each diety humans can follow (Fetid for bertox, Hatefull for Inno, Feirce for Rallos, etc.) and they all have similar stats. His example is valid. He just happened to link the version from Rallos.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the Rallos Zek armor gives more stamina across the board than other pieces, as the classes that can use them are bard and warrior only. The stats that are gained from these pieces dont need to account for other stats needed by other classes, such as mana, and wisdom.
