Just by denting your mask you get +3STR! Sweet... I'm gonna go dent some Bronze Armor and see what happens. (this is a joke. harr harr)

Logged into a VERY uncrowded Oasis of Marr zone this morning (only 2 others in the zone). Killed a caimen, and it dropped a Frozen Flower. I thought wtf??? Then I walked near the dock and there on the dock was a freaking ice goblin named Smee. At first I ran, then I conned it (bright red, but indifferent). Turns out it was a GM playing an ice gob who was looking for his frozen flowers. So, I start huning more, killing everything I can. After turning in two flowers, Smee gave me the Dented Brass Mask and a white wolf-hide cloak. Both items were improvements over my non-magical leather stuff. Thank god everybody else was on the Moon playing cats and Oasis was sparsely populated. Thanks Smee!

Was looking at some of the old posts...This was written almost 3 years ago...Everyone would call this a SUX item, now....but 3 years ago, it was an upgrade for a 58 lvl Rogue...What has happened?? I think it is great that SoE has given us such UBER upgrades...What I am really curious about, is that I have only been playing for about 1 and 3/4 years and I have yet to ever see a GM roaming around giving a cool quest to anyone...Especially, in a lonely zone like this..*Sigh*...With all the cool new gear and quest we have, it would still be a thrill to find a GM, someday, who is out there giving some lonely player a special quest and a cool new item...Guess those days are long gone, huh??

i was grouped with 2 clerics ( one was lvl 26 other 27) and my warrior lvl 27 and a rogue lvl 24 adn a druid lvl 25). we roasted this guy easily over and over. me and the rogue got the dented mask and i got 2 arc packs (i asked to loot them they said ok) got the ruined circlet too for my druid just get a good group and roast the place i dinged also to 28 was awesome.

the arch packs were Lore items. How did you get two of them?
granted, druids dont have the best nukes, but at 44, i got agroed by everyhthing in the area it seemed... got the mask and the bag each once, but still lol was fairly tough for me to kill him and stay alive =).. especially when his buddies attackin you and healing him.. hard to get a good nuke or so off

Which is better for a Monk...this or a Burynai Hide mask...the mask is 3AC, +2 Str, +2 Sta (I think) but has less Armor and is lighter...

Burynai Hide mask 3ac 2dex 2sta. I would prefer to go for the extra str but the extra sta from the frubie mask is helpful.

Yep, that guy has a lot of bad company. Me( a 30 warrior) a 27 rogue and a 32 shaman got our butts kicked in there cause all his healing and nuking buddies. Me and the rogue died and the shaman had to run. Bad news, I think level 35 sounds about right to me.
Whats better for a 38 warrior, this or a Braided Beard of the Coldain? I'm unable to use the proc of the beard so dont facter that into the decision.

Bah both are junk for a warrior. Neither of the mentioned items is worth sacrificing the AC of a simple fine plate visor for.
Actually the have the same combat value.
Fine plate visor AC7 = CV of 7
Dented Mask AC4 + STR 3 = CV of 7
So, it really depends on what stat you need improvement...offense or defense.
I forgot the guides name for CV stuff but look it up if you want.

The level to attain for this item shows 35, yet the MoB it drops off of shows 24-27. I was waxing this guy with a 26 mage...

I'm thinking it's because of the average level of mobs in the Arch's area, not good to tell a 24-27 person they can get this, then have a warrior wander out to find him and get smote by somethin higher level before they get there...lol

The deal is there are 3 or 4 priests as well a wizard that nukes for 250 per shot in that room as well. If you happen to get unlucky with your pull you're toast.
