If you get the glove pattern as a drop, they're ok...........but don't buy the pattern as the gloves aren't worth it considering they reduce mana for only 1 spell, and the other stats on them isn't much either.

/nod .. and now we have a new nuke, Psychosis, so Insanity isn't even our best nuke anymore.

This 20% mana preservation for Insantiy Storm on these ornate guants does not stack with regular mana preservation 4. And to answer the other question below, the elemental version of these guants has the 25% mana reduction to Insanity Storm.

MP4

Does this stack with Mana Preservation 4? I would normally assume no, but as these are the Ornate Gloves.. and the Ornate Sleeves have MP4.. it might make sense that they stack.

Can anybody PROVE or DISPROVE this?

I could have sworn that when I first looked into these gloves, they were 25% reduction on mana for insanity....not 20%. WTF?!? Why did they lower it?

Ok, I realize now what I saw. The one I was thinking of was the elemental gloves. The focus on them is "Insanity Sphere" 25% mana reduction to Insanity (but with better stats, obviously)

240, not 225

Actually, with a 20% mana reduction, Insanity would cost 240 mana.

Still very nice. =)

at the time the person listed a 225 mana cost, the item read 25% reduction. :) now it reads 20% so your were both right at the time of your posting:)
(240 is the current cost)

Who would have thought a focus effect that works on one spell. I can't complain though, getting a 1100 pt nuke for 225 with this focus effect is a nice ratio for an enchanter. Now I just have to get to level 64.

It works on the highest level nuke an enchanter has... We only get one line of spells, the 20% reduction on the only nuke we cast is a hell of a lot better then a 15% reduction on all nukes.

See, that's just it, this isn't the only nuke I cast. Insanity is good, but I can only cast it once every 8 seconds. If I want to make any sort of DPS happen whatsoever, I have to alternate Insanity and Dementing Visions. And when I have my GoD nuke... this effect will be even more useless.
