Although some may disagee i think think this is a very good veil for the place you getit from. As an enc its easier to get the 9dex 9cha veil while has a ton more int or you can do the incandescent mask quest to get an item that i think it better too and easier to get (though im not sure about the stats excetly) 20hp and ac3 is alright but still wont save you at the level youre fighting at enough times to make it worthwhile to wear it. Anyway only my opinion and some examples of other items that you can wear that are easier to come by, hope it helps :)

Well...I just got one of these today for free in Firiona Vie on the KARANA server. I zoned into the FV bank area, and i saw a couple other people rolling the magic dice from 100 200... I didn't know what was up but I decided to sneak my way in or whatever, and i /random 100 200 and i came up with 199. That was awesome, I had no idea what I won or if anything, but some guy then gave me this Loam veil...and although I have a 3int face item, I'll use this cuz of the 3cha, and I already had 195int.
