As per EQ Traders Corner:

2 Hardened Lizard Hides, 1 Pants Pattern. Triv is > 229 probably > 250.

Hardened Lizard Hide is a flawless Tae Ew hide and a Tae Ew Blood (both found in Cazic Thule). Triv is < 160.

Hope that helps.

50mana! Anyone else see this? 50mana>5wis. Hell if your lvl50 and have over 200 wis already this 50 mana is equal to 10wis. Who cares if there is int on them. They could be just the 13ac, 90hp and 50mana and they would rock.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 29 2003 at 4:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 13 ac 90 hp and 50 mana might b good for a bestlord, keyword: MIGHT. and 50 mana is not equal to 10 wis, back when the wis cap was 200, mayb these would have been good. these r somewhat decent bstlord legs, but fairly heavy for some monks. as to druids, i wouldnt b caught dead in these unless i wanted to boost my saves.... by 4... =X

Um i am a 62 beastlord and these are very good pants. Pants for beastlords are very limited ans most to 12 ac, to say nothing of the hp and mana on these. Unless you have acsess to very high end no drop gear these are very good indeed.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 28 2003 at 4:00 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Actually, it's +9 mana per wis over natural, before 200, and +18 after.
no clue

I wonder if the other items in this series of armor has the actual stats that the class needs. I know cleric hate armor has some items like this. For example the arms have int...umm why does a cleric need int? We are not intelligent we are just Wise! :)

They are decent for a monk I guess. Never played one though.

You don't think these are good stats?

AC: +13

Any of the classes listed coudl use the AC.

Str: +4

Good for MNK and BST, as it benefits ATK.

Sta: +6

Good for everyone as it benefits HP.

Dex: +2

Spell interupts and item procs.

Int: +2

Ignorable

Cha: +4

Always good for the DRU who charms (you DO charm as a DRU, don't you?!)

Poison Resist: +4 Disease Resist: +4

Good to have resists

HP: +90 Mana: +50

And the ever-useful HP and mana round-out

Ok, what am I missing here? No, these aren't great in any one way, but they're a REALLY nice set of all-around legs that I would gladly give up some ultra-specific pair of pants for. People keep saying things like "well, after a certain level, you're going to have maxed your primary stat(s), so that's not as important." What I never hear is people talking about what to do with those slots that you then free up after maxing primary stats?

This seems like a good answer.
What sense does this make?

I mean, c'mon, seriously. Not a single leather-wearing class has a use for int at all. And yet... no wis? Sigh.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 28 2003 at 1:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) It does make you wonder what the hell the designers at VI are thinking. The only value the 2 INT would have is for a monk learning trade skills. I wouldn't be surprised to see it changed to WIS in the future.
