AS a pet weapon
# Nov 03 2004 at 5:08 PM Rating: Excellent
Yes clerics can give these weapons directly to the pet but the pet will not use it! the pet will eat it! Get a necro to summon one of the low lvl skelly pets and then hand the pet one of your summoned hammers, take a look for yourself the pet will not be holding the hammer. As a mage to summon some weapons for the pet and then hand them to it, the pet will hold those weapons and use them. Its a simple test so if you don't beleive me try it out for yourself. ^_^

You can give no drop weappons to pets, its that this is cleric only and there are no cleric pets.

THis Hammer does NOT act like a light source like the others do. :(

As of the most recent patch, they do act as a light source now. Woo!
530% chance to proc

This has a 530% chance to proc over the default proc rate of weapons (according to unknown070 value).

Perhaps the fog of smoke wafting from your bong clouded your vision. Clerics cannot give this hammer to a mage pet, necro pet, enchanter pet, or Penthouse pet.

My main is a 66 shaman and the cleric hammers CAN be given to pets (even on normal servers, but the cleric has to hand them directly to the pet).

I have clerics give my pet the hammers especially for undead dungeons, etc and with the procs, he is vicious.

Actually, all Cleric summoned hammers are droppable on Firiona Vie, and commonly sell in the Bazaar for 1-5 PP each. They are still No Rent, but that's not such a big deal since you only have one character per account and thus your main is usually your Bazaar vendor as well (thus most No Rent stuff lasts until the Server or your Internet goes down).

No clue how these work on Pets, I'll try it and see.

cleric can't give it to mage pet because it's nodrop. Mage pet will reject it. Pets used to be able to use the Sword of Truth, and an incredible pet weapon it did make, until it was made nodrop too.

proc rate

the proc rate over time at 280 dex is 50 delay, and a average DPS of 24.

(so if like me, your nuts enough to fight for one hour solid, you will proc every 5 seconds on average, for 114damage on average, totaling 24dps)
um..

Wow... good job verant.. no rent, no drop hammer... lvl 63 to cast... dont want this bad boy falling into the wrong hands.. better make a required lvl of 60 for it. So... like... if you summon one... go on the worlds worst raid and loose 4 levels you cant use your hammer anymore?

lol

Or more likely to prevent someone on the FV server from summoning it and handing it to a lvl 1 cleric.
RE: um..
# Oct 05 2003 at 12:08 AM Rating: Decent
well... a cleric could de-lvl himself to like lvl 50 or somethin if he wanted to and then use this nice hammer...ive seen a ranger at lvl 40 with epic and 100's of AA's on pvp who wiped people like nothin... so it could be useful... sorta, kinda
RE: um..
# Feb 25 2004 at 5:28 PM Rating: Default
lvl 40 with 100s of aa??? hwo is thi sposible when you cant even start gaining aa exp till 51....why delevel yourself that far
RE: um..
# Oct 28 2003 at 7:31 PM Rating: Decent
right but if that was the case, the cleric could not use the weap. it would pop outta the slot and say you could not equip it again. or even cast the spell to summon another one. de-lvl or not, imo, the lvl required must be a mistake or something.

and i think that different rules apply to epics. not sure on that one.

Actually the item doesn't pop out of the slot, but if its de-equipped, you cannot equip it again.

How you would de-level without eaving a corpse, I don't know, but this is how it worked on items that had recommended levels added.
upgrade
# Apr 10 2003 at 9:18 PM Rating: Decent
also extra bane damage to undead
Upgrade?
# Jan 23 2003 at 10:04 AM Rating: Default
How is this any different from our first (lvl 56 hammer)? Seems to be the same proc, and stats don't appear to be hugely improved.

I must be missing something.
RE: Upgrade?
# Mar 10 2003 at 9:15 AM Rating: Decent
Actually check out the stats again. I had the 58 hammer and now have this.. This one has 5 more wis and 30 more mana. and yes it Procs A LOT more.

I don't have this one yet, however the level 60 Hammer procs about twice as much as the 56 one. So pretty likely that this one procs even more. Unfortunately Cleric Melee is quite hard to calculate.
RE: Upgrade?
# Jan 23 2003 at 11:10 AM Rating: Decent
It supposedly procs more
RE: Upgrade?
# Sep 03 2004 at 7:14 PM Rating: Default
Not supposedly, it does. 650% more to be exact.
