I have a Eyepatch of Plunder, the stats are better, +10 to the same, nad AC, cant remember the amount off the top of my head, plus its a right click 3sec cast time stackable haste (20%) yout ell me whats better... IMO anyway adn btw I am sitting pretty good and still have only 964 AC. So 1k is nuts. Not even with Max skills. But then again I am no super twink.

If you are mostly involved in raids...ToV, or such. AC on monks isn't very important. A dragon that quads 400+ dmg, well, a monk with 1300 vs a monk with 1000 AC will get hit the same. Better to have resist gear to avoid those nasty AE spells. So all in all this isn't a bad item, unless your looking for resist gear.

If you were to wear this your ac would go up just due to the Dea Agi increase. It's not 5 a/c but it is an a/c adjustment. So it's not that bad guys.

Yeah, this item is a total piece of crap...no AC is just plain stupid. You should do all you can to get your AC over 1K before you even ponder your stats in the least.
Just passin' through. I can assure you, any Monk worth a hill of beans has his AC above 1K by level 46. With a 1200ac soft cap, a level 46 Monk should well be looking at sats... Would you turn down an FBSS because it had no stats? Before you answer, consider that I know Monks who will give up an FBSS for a Spider Fur Belt, or TBB. It just depends on where you want to take your character, and your view of "monkness". No one is putting a gun to your head to force you to do this quest.

No chance of getting ac over 1k by level 46. I've done my best to get as high of ac as possible and at level 50 I still am in the 900s. Every group I am ever in I ask what ac eveyone is at. Consistantly I have the highest, even over the main tanks. 1k by 46, maybe if uber twinked =P but not the normal char..

Anyone have any background on Ton Po? Hes got this equip and the kickass staff that never went live Ton Po's Staff of Understanding 44dmg 40dly Effect: One Hundred Blows.....this guy mustve been one powerful *** monk.

Actually, yeah, we are... in small groups, especially where a shammy or druid is healing (thus no CHeal) I do some tanking. Overall, probalby 40% of my time is spent doing so. And when not tanking, I'm probably pulling.

Monks might not be there to take the hits, but any AC a monk can get would help immensely while trying to pull, or when they take too much damage and taunt the mob off the tanks.
Seriously, the only reason i would use this over a mask with AC is if i really needed to get my stats up (ie i have low stats due high AC items elsewhere).
Give this mask 5AC and it would be much more appreciated.
