I hadn't even given these a thought when I got into good group on LCY tonight. Actually, I had never seen these drop while I played my ranger there. My warrior was working toward getting 49 when a couple people announced they were leaving after the next pull. The group was gonna break up. So, I went and grabbed a couple of mob to kill and WOO HOO, these drop. When I got into the group, they said in advance it was need before greed, and they honored that statement by giving me these. Thank you group, they are awesome.
I have these. Its a right clickable strength buff. At level 46 it becomes clickable. At level 60 it adds 25 strength. It is self only. The gloves are able to cast on others but the strength is only 15 and counts down to neg 15 of your normal before wearing off.
Only increases your strength, not targetable and it does not stack with the reckless strength buff. Reckless strength buff is targetable. Shrink is targetable. Lesser Shielding is not targetable. Anyone know if invigorate is targetable or self only???
Does anyone know for certain what lvl these boots will cast?
I just bought a pair for my lvl 16 troll warrior and they won't cast yet "you are not high enough lvl to use this effect". (yah this char is twinked' so what? all of my others aren't)
I've heard rumors ranging from lvl 25 to 46 anyone know for certain?
These boots will begin to cast at level 45. My Dwarf warrior got them at lvl 44 and they would not work. He just made level 45 and they work fine now. Good Luck.
MUCH better. With reckless str, your str drops slowly until it's actually -5 below your normal level. Str of Kunzar is straight-up +25str buff, which comes in very handy if there are no shammies or druids in the group.
The +25 str isn't really that good, because a shaman can give you over twice that with their buff. So, this would only be really usefull if you were soloing or in a group without a buffer.
your totally right, yet still missing a totally obvious fact that is present. there are alot less shaman then warrior out there, a warrior will not always get lucky enough to have a shammy with them at all times. when i dont have a shammy around, 25 extra str rocks my world, and even when a shammy is around, these have 25 ac! that is a huge bonus regardless of what buffs you have, especially for a mid 40's drop item.
best of luck to ya in all your undertakings, stay safe and have fun. 8)
I had the best night I've ever had last night in Karnos. Got in a great group. Three Warriors, cleric, Shammy, and Chanter. We fought our way into the Hands room, and loot started to drop. First drop was the Cobalt Boots, and I won the roll. Only the warriors rolled, typically in Karnos it's need before greed, but it's up to the group. ES Gaunts BE gaunts and a Springwood club also dropped in about 2 hours. All on a weeknight. Three of us also Dinged. What a night!
These boots are amazing, they have great AC and are a right click effect of +25 str which is killer, they are curenly going for 9000 to 10,000 pp on the tarew marr server
Got em today in KC, 25 AC. They look dark blue when weared, very dark compared to the rest of the set, the proc is a slow casting 25 str buff that lasts for a long long time, nice atk boost.
Looks like it says 25ac to me. And this buff is very handy btw, i use it all the time, puts your attk up in duels and also your rangers and druid dont want to have to have the str buff memed and have to shout for one all the time.
It does. +25 str, non stacking with any str buff out there. Not really a perma +25 str, most high level groups have a buffer that always gives a str buff.
