For the person that mentioned saves, it has 15 save vs' poison fire and magic. So it definatly has the saves you want. Also has 4 Charisma not mentioned.
Just got my first elemental piece and this was it! The mold dropped from Krziik the Mighty in the Reef of Coirnav (Plane of Water). Also dropped a cloth head elemental mold.
drooling over it already, just a few lvls more to go and even more aa's :-( But it's awesome anyone who grabs hold of it, goodluck and enjoy it.
Just for the effects, i think i could settle for one, but the +13 wis and other stats are maybe worthwhile settling for another though depending on the rest of the gear you may want to exchange it for something with a bit more sv's. But items like these makes it worthwhile keep on trying to push to 65. :-)
by the time you can access the zones needed to acquire this type of armor, wis will pretty much be the last thing you look at. AC doesnt really do much for druids, but sta, hp and mana are very nice to have. 18sta(= ~71hp) (not too bad), 260hp, 270 mana, and not to mention the 28dex (I like dex...) FT4 is a great bonus. I have 1 of these atm, and I absolutely love it.
Even if you are at 355 WIS, you also have to take into account the various AEs and such that significantly drop WIS and other stats.
If you have (for example) a WIS base of 499 (before flaming, look at a legitimate Magelo profile: Kaidman - now take his 477/260 WIS [477 being what he would have if he could raise his max higher] + Clairavoyance [4: Increase WIS by 32] = 499) then take into account this little beauty Aura of Destruction ... you are now back to 399 WIS.
This example is on one uber toon, so just think what would happen if you had a MAX of 355 (with items, etc.) ... can we say WIS = 255?
There is of course the point that GoD was not yet out, and therefore there was no Uqua, and no zonewide AoE.
Oh and btw, your math is wrong.

Note that decreases stats by 250 applies to wis/int also. SOO, the hypothetical person with exactly 355 wis, would have it reduced by 350 not 100, ending with a net wisdom of 5. I was there yesterday as an app to a raid guild, and when the effect hit my wis dropped to 43 and 4 of my stats to 1.
Getting your stats up HELPS in Uqua, but unless you have 755 wis there is no way someone will be able to keep their wis at the 405 cap, except to get one of the no-drop, no-rent dohickies that drop in zone.
