Cleric or Druid item

From the usefulness of the ER4 on raids, definitely druid first.

Druids now have great heals and often end up helping out in CH chains on raids, but the good druid heals are 60+. Those require ER4 to get the range. And the range is a must for all healers now on raids.

A cleric's CH is level 49, ER3 (supplescale armband) and even ER2 (moonstone ring) is sufficient and will work for CH for the range. Supernal Remedy has 2x the range of CH, so their 60+ heals aren't an issue for needing ER.

It's definitely a great item for both, but would equip druids first because their heals require the ER4, cleric heals do not.

As a 65 cleric, I can tell you I ALWAYS NEED ER4 on raids and 95% of my exp groups. The range on the Remedy line of spells is huge, but Supernal Light has the same limitation on range as Complete Heal and will not be effected by an ER3 item. ER4 is sweet for anyone 61+ who would use it, no matter the class.

Personally I think it should be a roll between the cleric or the shaman due to the fact that by the time you really need this item, the cleric which is PH or the shaman which is usually PS(primary slower) would def be the 2 you don't want to be taking hits, but too I could see a druid rolling due to succor.

Valid point on the succor personally i wouldnt want to be left behind.

few things I'd like to mention...
cleric CH is level 39.
2 groups should be able to take this guy out so it's probably not going to be a guild raid, therefor ring goes to the cleric, druid, or shaman who wins the roll.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 14 2003 at 1:33 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Oh my! This is a nice little trinket for a Cleric. Extended Range IV to get off those heals when your tanks forget that they do have things called RANGE...

Stats are good for all, of the 3 classes I think a druid would most apprechiate the extended range.

Quad kiting with the lvl 62 druid AOEDD really needs a focus item for speed or extended range due to its long cast time. After a couple of deaths tanks get the hang of staying in range. We cant blame them too much though, you would have trouble remembering things too if you were being hit in the head all day.

If i had the choice to award this to either a druid or a cleric for the reasons you have just given, then i would award it to the cleric without blinking.
If the tank is out of range (does happen), then its nice for the cleric to have that lil bit of extra range. Cause of this type of mob, if the tank dies, the rest of the party most likely does too.
A druid with extended range 4 is nice too for when he or she is solo'ing. But really, a druid who kites properly wont need an extended range item (except for perhaps harmonizing when pulling). A snare + sow should easily be enough for a druid to get his/her dots off.

is this really a drop?
# Jan 11 2003 at 11:11 PM Rating: Decent
can anyone confirm having seen this item drop? There are a lot of wind-worn items, and wind-worn stones...i would be inclined to think this is crafted, not dropped.

Well...

I had a lucky stone once. Wasn't as nice as this one, though. Plus I lost it. Dropped it when a Flock of Seagulls attacked me one day. It fell and I ran, I ran so far away...

A Flock of Seagulls? Are they still together? I thought they broke up in the 80's?
