As I was looking at this item I noticed that it was'nt NODROP. I would hate to meet the person who had gear so good he would sell this little piece of UBERness.

What does this item look like when equipped in primary or secondary slot?
probably looks like the crucable... the 3d graphic looks a great deal like the icon. Sort of a bowl with little feet, and the handle is of course held. In a real life sense it would be a little golden bowl... the size of a small food bowl. ... It looks a lot like the icon. I would assume this item is the same.

This actually looks like Ice Cream Cone graphic (Cone of the Mystics/Orb of Tishan).
Pretty wierd... but considering I like that graphic its good! If you dont want that graphic... you can always stick it in your range.

Does this item work on shadowknight line lifetaps and dd's? I'm doubting it works on harm touch, but thinking it might be real nice if exceptional heals and such could be increased with this item. Anyone know?
Yes, it can affect SK harmtouches and DD spells and lifetaps. It won't affect things like shroud of chaos or mental corruption. The focus is the same one that is on the war crested ring that drops out of tactics, which my SK wears.
SK HT can be increased by simply ID1 ... don't need ID4 for it ...
You need ID4 to max it out, I tested that.

after seeing all of the new pottery made items, with focus effects on them.. I have decided what trade skill to master out first. this item iz awesome, fits primary / secondary / range... it really iz about time that the player made items were actually worth the effort, besides GM trophys <fail, fail fail, bye bye k after k pp>, bout time ya stared pulling yer head outa that stinky dark cave Verant. /clap.

Yeh, now all you have to do is get elemental flagged or have someone who is farm you **** to make it.

All items for these are NOT ND, can be picked up fairly cheaply in the bazaar.
To get to 250 (im not 100% sure on this, but I think so) You need to get taanan mastery thing, and thats aa (need to be 51+ if you didn't get that already) so, while getting AA, and getting planar at 46 (probably starting around 48) You can pick up raw diamonds alot, and get AA, so, in theory, its not all that hard...
I get someone else to do it fer me, im to lazy...

While some of the ceramic items are kinda easy to buy the items to make, this one and others are very hard to get certain items. For example: Solidified Magma drops of a 68 level mob that IMO can't be solo'ed or boxed and takes many raid events to even get to this zone.
So, while opinion and theory are allowed, reality soon sets in.

The first tradeskill to go over 200 will be able to goto 250. Every other one after that maxes at 200. The Taanan mastery skill allows an additional tradeskill to go over 200 each time you train it.
